Have the Sixers started tanking?
Don't worry, that builds character and you can never have too much character...

Let's see.. Our game plan the entire first quarter is to give the ball to Dalembert in the high post and let him make decisions..... I would have to say we wouldn't beat any team in the league with this strategy.. 3 turnovers by Sam and an immediate 10 point deficit...

Has Sam suddenly gained a good passing and offensive game since the road trip?? What the Hell is Cheeks thinking??

Thank you, sometimes Cheeks has to get the blame and not Iggy face it this team is new coac and another free agent away from making noise in the playoffs.

Also look at Daly he can't pass out of the post, this why we miss joe smith right now, he had such a nice passing game out of the post.

Lou Williams needs some more upper body strength AND a better feeling for finishing around shot blockers, because he gets his shot blocked too much for a 6'1" professional player whose billed as a natural scorer.

As for the added upper body stregth he never makes a shot if he has to absorb any contact AND alter the shot.

Yea...if he's taking that shot to the hoop he should have thrown his body into the defender and put up an awkward shot...didn't learn that trick from Iverson. Still a lot of room for growth.

Williams looks lost on the court far too often... Cheeks is trying to make him into something he is not.

Sixers have cut this lead down to just 2 with 50 seconds to go. The Bucks will find a way to lose this.

Well.... Bogut just had a putback that should seal the game. I'm all for losing this season so this is a good loss in that it will:

A) Move the Bucks into a tie with us for record

2) Hppefully continue a long losing streak so that we can all forget about the playoffs and throwing on yet another band-aid to make this team better.

TGP we should start having the hottest dancer from the opposing team in each game thread instead of our girls :).

A different poster should step up with that action every game thread. dbodner hooked us up with the girl from the Nuggets. We have two more Sixer girls to get through and then others should step up with a little somethin', somethin'.

This loss just brought back The Rose Bowl standings since the Sixers now have the 10th worst record in the league. If Chicago holds on to win their game, we'll actually be back in the 9th spot.

I think this streak is going to hit 12 games due to the travel schedule and other factors like "The JOB Factor".

Some people got all excited about Willie Green's hot 5-6 games to start december. In his last 7 he's shooting 34.7% (32-92).

Philliasfinest said,,Why did Willie Green play 37 Min tonight.

Answer that one finest, and I will endorse your application for the sixers GM job :-) Yes Lou had a bad game tonight. But to say he needs more upper body strength is wrong. He's fine the way he is. In fact, definitely before his toe injury on average he's probably the best at getting to the hole and drawing fouls. A week ago he had 12 FT attempts in the 4th quarter alone.

But he did have a bad game tonight. Iggy played well, and Dalembert had a good collective game for the most part. The more he gets 14 Pts and 12-15 rebounds a game, the more other teams who are void any sort of Big man will want him badly.

Good game tonight guys. Good luck on the rest of the season in winning, or, if I read this thread correctly, loosing. Although, we are pretty much in the same boat so I understand where you all are coming from.

I heard on Sportsnite that Iguodala stormed out of the locker room and didn't talk to media. These tantrums are getting old...

He's laying the groundwork ala Ivy to force a trade sooner, and not later. It will only be a matter of time before Iggy is wearing the Laker purple & Gold :-)

There, that ought to give some people here some nightmares!
