When I heard the interview, I thought, he's a cool guy, I didn't know he had that much personality, sense of humour, etc. He is a nice guy, but when you think of it, is this what you want your franchise player to be like? Focused on making videos for fun? I'd rather he be focused on playing more intensely, working harder at building up his body, etc. You want your star to be all basketball.
I hope he's not becoming another VC. Vince was always too caught up in being likeable, having fun. He lacked the fire and killer instinct of a Jordan, Kobe or Lebron. It's easy to be that way because you're going to get your millions anyway. I hope CB isn't that type.
He did the 1st video during the Xmas Break, on his own time. It wasn't an extravagant video that needed 3 days so I believe it had little to no cost towards his development or conditioning.
He can't be going at it 24/7.
It's easy to start poking holes in the system when things aren't going well but lets keep a perspective here. I work 10 hours a day, 40 hours a week. Sometimes I bring my work home with me, somtimes I'm forced to put in overtime, but in a 24 hour day I most certainly have a right to enjoy 3 to 4 hours doing the things I enjoy, non work related. Now I realize CB4 is making much more money and has a bigger obligation to fill but not to the point where taking 2 to 3 hours of his own time out to make a silly video should offend anyone. It's well within his right and has absolutlely no effect on the Raptors organization other than generating it much needed publicity.
