Imagine there is no ego. Imagine that players don't care who start and who don't. Imagine there is no "promises" to some players. Imagine they all care only about wining and doesn't care about stats. If you can imagine all of that then what is your starting 5 and why?
Here is mine:
PG: Mo
SG: Bell
SF: Simmons
PF: CV
C: Bogut
Bench: Ivey, Redd, Yi, Rufin with Redd as 6th man
Why:
1. It is important to have at least one good defender in backcourt. Bell is
2. Redd's scoring is not dependent of who he plays with. He will score same if he plays with starters and if he plays with bench players. His ability to score over anybody is great power to have from bench. Just like Manu does. Team could play team basketball with starters and then when bench came in Redd can play his "one against all" basketball.
3. Simmons needs minutes and confidence. He is getting back in good form. When healthy and in form he is real SF that we need.
4. CV is just better player than YI right now. Not even close really. He would be great with starters as he also move ball and can go inside and can play basketball period.
5. Yi can came from bench to play pick and pop game with Redd.

I'd love the idea of Redd off the bench. Someone had alluded to this a few months ago as well.
These last few games have proven that the Bucks CAN function without Redd. Sure, it's been against bad teams, but they're all playing the "right" way. That is encouraging.
Then Redd can come off the bench to chuck as much as he wants, with Yi also getting his chances.
It's certainly worth a shot.
