Are you serious? That's a pipedream. And even if he chose not to stay in Cleveland, I don't see any way he picks somebody other than Brooklyn, who should have an airport's worth of cap space. If the Bulls have Kirk, Ben, Noc, Luol, Tyrus, Noah and a few others (Thabo, maybe an MLE guy) on the payroll, they will not have nearly enough cap space, and none of those guys will be expirers.

Hell, maybe he'll go to Portland to play with Roy/Aldridge/Oden. Now that should be illegal.

I think most fans would do the deal and I think it makes good sense for both teams, but I'm not sure Bulls' management would be willing to swallow their pride and pull the trigger.

Cliff Levingston says hell yes. Get Kupchak and Paxson on the phone and let's get this done.

I'm beginning to think Pax has one of those Fisher Price phones on his desk - and he doesn't know it...

If LeBron hasn't won a title by his FA year (which seems like a near lock given Cleveland's situation) then I think he will want to go to a team with talent around him, and he'll probably prefer one that ramps up his marketing deal.

That leaves the Knicks, Bulls, LA, and Nets (if they are in New York at this point). Of those teams, the Bulls would be the only one that could both build a competitive roster and have cap space to sign him to force the Cavs into a S&T situation.

Is he going to go to the Nets because JayZ owns like 1% of it if their team absolutely blows? I kind of doubt it.

Even though Vlad Rad is not that good, he's better than Kryhapa and would allow the Bulls to trade Nocioni for a 2.

We don't need a reason or another player to trade Noc. We just need to trade him.

priceless.

in Sept/Oct when he made calls he had leverage

now with a 13-20 record, an injured Deng and demoted Gordon he just has desperation and every GM knows it.
