Well I think he sees how the Rockets are playing without him and he probably decided to make sure that thing was completely healed. I can't fault him for actually rehabbing from an injury the way he has failed to do in the past. We got an easy home schedule ahead with the only tough team being the Hornets. Everything else is winnable as we are right now...its a good idea to make sure that knee is healed so it doesn't bother him again this season.

5 games in the next 10 days

NY, MIN, NO, PHI, SA

We really need to take care of business tonight in NY and against MIN. And we can't sleep on Philly. Obviously we're playing much better since they beat us but we can't take them lightly (or anyone for that matter)

Wait wait, I heard that interviev. Morey said he met McGrady and Tracy said he still had some tendonist on the knee. So as Morey said he just needed a while to be sure.

Morey said he would be back in 100% in that 4-home games streak startin' against Minnesotta. So he will be back for NO, maybe Philadelphia.

Wait I was just listening to 610 about an hour ago. And they said that Tmac is still set to be back on Friday. And Morey was talking about how Peter V. has made that rumor up, because he said he has never talked to anyone about trading McGrady. And with him saying that, IMO I think that also automactically lowers McGrady's value on the market...

Listen to -- Daryl Morey Part 2 1/9/08 again, Morey said "Tracy is still having tenderness (in the knee) and it may be a while before he gets back. In 5-10 days, hopefully."

Right, something like that. :)

But we play against Wolves, Knicksso we can easily win those game without TMac. He better be sure he's ok.

Ok.

How does saying he hasn't talked to anyone about trading TMac lower his trade value?

Why would he care if he isn't looking at trading him?

What do you mean? Did they said Tracy might play on Friday?

We'll se tomorrow. But they did said it after Morey had said it right?

From that time he has 2 days off, maybe he'll be able to play. If not we play Hornets on Sunday.

I hope T-Mac comes back Friday so it gives him a warm-up for the game we really need him in - vs the Hornets.

Yeah Friday would be the most IDEAL date, schedule gets a little tougher and really need him for that.

But it seems like two years ago, set a target date for McGrady and just a couple days before, keep extending it and extending it, until it's a little too late. I really hope he's healthy enough to play on Friday. Even Adelman said that'd be the most ideal...

I listened to the interview...did he actually say 5-10 days? I just heard that he wasn't where they wanted him to be and that his knee was still tender.

Yea he did say 5-10 days but he sounded like he was just being overly conservative. He sounded pretty confident we would get him back at some point during this homestand. (Hopefully in time for the New Orleans game)

Yea it's tough to catch when you're listenin'. I actually couldn't catch it also.

We'll see, I really hope he'll play Friday.

Right, I think it would be a good decision to come back on Sunday.

No need to rush, especially for game againt Wolves who are strugglin'. So we can beat them without him. We need him more against Hornets

ı read the article and it says tmac could rejoin to team by friday.

and adelman is talking about him. ı think adelman should know his players' injury better than Morey. ı expect he will play Friday but ı his playing times will be short. because adelman said something like taht.

Alright I was just listening to Jermey Foster on sports radio 610 at approximately 10:30AM and he said "Tracy McGrady will be back Friday, but will get limited playing time by Adelman, because they do not want the injury to act up again".
