GSW/WAS Jamison comes back to G. State

The Wizards do not know what the future holds for Antwan Jamison. The player becomes an FA and may very well demand big time money. Washington will probably be more inclined to sign Arenas than to over pay Jamison.

The Warriors could really benefit from Jamison. AJ would bring the ability to stretch the floor and run and gun with B Diddy, Ellis, Jax and Co at the 4 spot. He would add to the Warriors already mismatches created list.

Al Harrington, Cash, future 1st round pick for A. Harrington.

Al also gives Washington more of a low post presence at the 4 slot and insurance knowing they'll have that legit 4 at at somewhat reasonable price for years. The extra cash can go into the Arenas fund and an extra pick is always handy down the line.

No way. Jamison is a MUCH better player than Al Harrington. Jamison's expiring contract also allow the Wiz to resign Arenas to his new contract.

If the Wiz move Jamison, it will be for a top flight big man i.e. Gasol. They aren't going to downgrade in talent for a low draft pick.

Jamison can "demand" all the big money he wants, but the only teams under the cap will be Philly and possibly Atlanta. Atlanta is already overloaded at forward so they don't want him. Philly is rebuilding and isn't going to invest big money in a 32-year-old tweener forward.

Washington will resign Jamison for something in the $7-8M per year range. He isn't getting traded because the Wizards can't take the luxtax hit.
