Feel free to change out some minor parts, but I think it's just about even.
The Celtics will have to pick up an semi-athletic center on the wire though to fill in. Or, the Sixers could buy out Magloire and the Celts could pick him up.

This is a tough sell to Pacer fans, we basically trade O'Neal and Granger for Jefferson, Iggy, and a bunch of people we don't need with such a deep team. I doubt the Pacers do this. Jefferson, Iggy, Williams, Daniels, Dunleavy, plus all those other SG/SF you had coming in. It would create the biggest log jam in history. Not to mention we'd have to cut like 4 guys before we could make the trade.

If anything, Murphy is as good as Todd McCullough..yea, remember him? I'll take someone tall who can run the floor anyday of the week if I am the Sixers.
As for the risk you say involved in giving up both Andre's, well, I guess we have different evaluations of the players involved.

And while Williams is playing well, I'm not totally convinced he's not over his knuckleheadedness.
Not that the deal is unfair for the Sixers, just too much risk involved to give both Andres.

Welcome, StormxShadow.
I definitely think your deal has some fresh ideas (a valuable commodity on this board), but as a whole I don't think any team does it. I wouldn't mind taking on Carney and Evans in a JO (or Gasol) deal, and that had never crossed my mind before. Right now, Iguodala wants to be just as much of a SF as Richard Jefferson, so I'm not sure how the two Wildcats would work that out (meanwhile, Dunleavy goes back to the bench during a career year...). If BOS decides to trade their starting C, I don't think Magloire is going to be first in line for auditions (Nets fan here, btw).

Some people really have a way with words. Other people... not... have... way.

I can't see Boston being too happy with this. Perkins and Allen for Willie Green and Jamal Magloire is redundant. Andre Miller is certainly an upgrade over House, but the Celtics seem happy with the play of House at point. The lost of Posey though seems crippling to the Celtics. Not only is he their sixth man, but main backup to both forward positions. With this trade, the Celtics will have to rely on GDavis and Pollard for 48 minutes when they've been combining for about 15 minutes off the bench mostly. Also it would leave Ray Allen and Paul Pierce as the only two players that could potentially play SF on their team.

I see what you're trying to say, but in order to "actually get cap space" in this deal, we would have to renounce our rights to Iguodala, meaning we couldn't use our Bird Rights to re-sign him and making him an unrestricted free agent. That ruins any value he would bring to this deal.
Plus, any hopes of getting Iguodala would be to play NEXT to Granger, not instead of him.
Losing Murphy's deal helps, but Richard Jefferson doesn't really. I'd rather not get Jefferson and hold onto Granger instead.
Find a way to get Iguodala and almost everything else in the rest of the package for JO and Murpy, and I'd do it.
