When as anyone said he can't draft?

Everyone on here always gives Mitch props for his draft picks, while flaming him for just about everything else :)

I've never heard anyone say either of those statements, sorry..

I think everyone's acknowledged he's an above average GM as far as drafting goes.

I think it was more of... A GM needs to make moves instead of get moved himself.

Worst move was giving up Von Wafer. He will be a good player.

We've missed a lot of good players in the draft, when West was drafting, and when Mitch was drafting.

He sure made up for it though with these last couple drafts and getting Bynum, Turiaf, Farmar, Crittenton. We should have went with Stu Lantz and got Monte Ellis instead of Wafer, but you can't nail all 3 picks.

Imagine if we got Ellis in that draft. Turiaf, Bynum, Ellis. That would have been something.

March 6 2006 will forever be his worst decision as General Manager of the Los Angeles Lakers.

Who would all of you say is the best GM at drafting? Do not include such things as FA signings and trades, just drafting.
