It is a travesty that we are even talking about this. Iggy has given us nothing but his best. He didn't miss a game until his 3rd season.
He is arguably one of the best "up and coming" stars in the league. He has such a complete game, and it will only get better.
And just because he's getting frustrated by losing, you want to trade him?!?!?!
Who cares if he can't score like Kobe, or AI, or Melo??!?!?!?!
Instead of focusing on what he isn't, let's focus on what he is.
He is a freak of an athlete with great defense, moves great without the ball, great passer, and is getting better and better at scoring.
Those of you who want him gone don't know a thing about basketball.
Kobe, AI, and Melo are very VERY rare players who come with their vices too, just like any player. If you want to trade Iggy and wait for the next Kobe, you're going to wait a really long time.
This is simply outrageous and pathetic.

I've seen his bad attitude on broken plays , sometimes in plays in which he is at fault and then he turns and lays it on Dalembert. Iguodala shoud never have been told he is the go to guy. He is not a Supreme talent and now he is becoming a Prima Donna. I hate seeing him throwing tantrums towards his teammates. Brandon Roy is a much better player in my estimation and I am yet to see him exhibit this juvenile attitude when his teammates were playing like crap. This is a guy who was too scared to take the game to another level when more established players were around . I guess now he is the guy . What a punk. Trade his A$* !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

His defense hasn't been great since his rookie and sophomore years, it has stagnated . His Jumpshot takes forever for him to get it off and is inconsistent. He does not instill confidence in his team but his best ability is getting his teammates involved . He is a player that should be dealt to a team like the Heat and get back a young player like dorrell wright and Draft picks. Get his a*& out of here as soon as possible !!!!!!!!!

I don't consider Iggy a freak of an athlete, his leaping ability is VERY overrated he even said so himself a few seasons ago when asked. I believe Mark Zomoff(sp) had asked him about his leaping ability and how many inches it was, Iggy said "Well I'm really not that great of a leaper, guys like Willie Green can REALLY get off of the ground. I am aided by my height and length." I guess all yall care about is fast break dunks because I see no evidence of Iggy's leaping ability in the halfcourt he needs a running start unlike other players that can just explode off the ground. Who has Iggy dunked on in the halfcourt?

How many guards do you know of who HAVE dunked on sum1 in the half court?
More importantly, WHO CARES?!?!
So what if he hasn't dunked on people in the half court?
He is still a rare "do-it-all" player who is only 23. ONLY 23!!!!!

I am amazed we have this many people who want to get rid of Iguodala. Man, people have been spoiled by decades of Dr Jm, Moses, Barkley and AI. Not everyone we get will be a top 50 all time HOF player- and those guys couldn't even win more than 1 championship in the last 30 years.
We should push for the team to get good players around Iguodala- our only very good young player right now.
To want to get rid of him is to want to continue to be in the lottery. remember how many years the Clips, Hawks and Griz have waited for an MJ, Shaq or Duncan... and they are still waiting.

Dala probably has dunked in the half court as much as any SF/SG in the last 2 years. And if he doesn't try to dunk on centers- and instead makes the pass to Sammy for a dunk when he draws the opposing center- so what.
You make it sound like he should go because he can't dunk- which is about the silliest argument I have ever heard.

I never said that he should go this thread is just filled with people who haven't read prior posts. I don't see him as a piece that NEEDS to be here. He's just a good player not a building block. We need atleast 2 players BETTER than him, its sad you are falling in love with such a overhyped good player. He's good, that's it, he's no Manu or Vince...

Iggy is 24. I'd have difficulty naming an elite SG/SF that HASN'T dunked on somebody in the halfcourt.
That's the word right there. ELITE. Your problem is you are too busy comparing him to ELITE players.
He is not quite at that level yet, but he is close. He is easily in top 5 for SF. And he is developing. He has a very bright future.
But, I mean, WHY would we waste our time with such a player? Clearly, in no way, shape, or form could we use him on our team. HE'S A TEAM CANCER!!! HE'S GOTTA GO!!

That's the dumbest thing I've ever heard.
Anyway, if that's really your criteria, look at the first dunk on this mix. If you really want to type in "Andre Iguodala" on youtube and look through his various highlights you'll find several more.
Stop arguing with yourself, noone calls him elite. This is really getting annoying.

didn't watch past the 3rd dunk. Not what I was looking for. I have dunks like this in mind. http://youtube.com/watch?v=k7hhxkh4oOs
Break down his defender off of his own penetration, no pick. then finishes over whoever is in his way.

Uh, that was like the best in game dunk of the century by the greatest dunker of this century. No **** it's not as good as that.
Explain how the one over Sheed isn't "dunking on somebody in the halfcourt."
This is so stupid, if you just want to argue you're really just wasting everyone's time.

Post a video of Iguodala driving on his defender without use of a screen and finishing over his opponent.

What does driving past someone have to do with his jumping ability?
This is hilarious. Just admit you're wrong man
