This is a must win IMO... We are percentage points behind NOH and we can leap frog them with a win... They have had our number the passed couple seasons so winning on their court would be great

Luke: stay at home on Peja, be physical with him

Fish and Farmar: We cant stop CP3 so make him work on defense... Hit your open shots

Bynum: Dont get bothered by Chandler's length... Stay calm and let your game come to you, dont force anything

Odom: bang the boards, attack the basket... Try to get West in foul trouble

Kobe: Go to work on these ******

Mo Peterson was one of the primary victims in the 81 point game..

Lakers'd better win this game ! They look poor in defense...we need to make our open shots in order to be competitve throughout the entire game...

Go Lakers !

Paul will get his 20 12
But the much more important thing is to close Peja and do not allow Chandler get many offensive rebounds...we're very capable of that.

^ lol, i think his whole team was a victim. if i had to guess, jalen rose and jose calderon were the worst offenders. god that raptor team was really soft...and i can't say they have changed much since then!

they need a Charles Oakley in the worst kind of way!

PG D. Fisher 12.8 C. Paul 21.6
SG K. Bryant 26.7 M. Peterson 9.6
SF T. Ariza 5.4 P. Stojakovic 14.8
PF L. Odom 13.9 D. West 19.4
C A. Bynum 12.8 T. Chandler 12.1

Looks like this is the starting lineup for both teams.

Hope Ariza rapes Peja and does not let him go off with his 3 pointers.

And Bynum toys with Chandler

The only huge problem I see is Paul; he can beat any of our guards at will. We need to stop his penetration.

Let's get that win now baby

i won't be surprised if the lakers lose this one. the hornets are on the verge of elite status just like the lakers and chris paul is playing at an incredible level. the lakers are coming in on a back to back on the road.

Last time peja shot 100% against the lakers. Walton/Ariza has to keep him in check.

Fish/Kobe has to body up on Paul. I don't want him going off for a 20/20 game.

My keys to the game.

- Ariza needs to get the bulk of the minutes and stay with Peja

- Make CP3 a scorer

+1

We have to make CP3 a scorer. We did a good job with that against Phoenix. Nash went off for like 25 points or so, but everyone else was out of sync. Force him to take the J and guard the passing lanes.

Second of a back to back on the road, should be tough. If Lakers want to prove they are elite, they need to play like it.

We better win this game!

We should continue our winning streak to gain some great momentum before we face those elite Western teams (SA, Dallas, PHX, Denver)

Keys to the game:

-Do not allow Hornets shooters get hot.
-Win the rebound battle.
-Dominate the paint (Bynum, Odom)
-Kobe goes for 30+.

Well, in the other thread I started regarding our record in January I predicted this to be a loss, so hopefully I'm proven wrong.

Let's see if we can steal one from them this time around.
