Wow... youd think our PF/C following the screen would figure out that they are just setting Blake up for an open shot... Harrington? Barnes? Anyone?

Steve Blake = Matt Bonner?

This **** is sad. Get it together in the 3rd quarter or just have the scrubs & rookies finish out the 4th.

Mayor Baron wrote:hate to see Roy get hurt like that...hope he's ok

also hate how baron is this hurt and can't even elevate to finish a layup

Baron's not hurt, he's playing crappy because he's frustrated.

Same with Jack. That first quarter put them in the tank, there's nothing physically wrong they're just being babies.

If he was guarding somebody he's supposed to - as opposed to being in a zone after guarding a post PF - we wouldn't be seeing lapses like that.

And he's a 6'8 forward, most of them don't go over screens...

Of course.

Nellie's quirk is that he seems to think there's bonus credit for doing it the hard way. I can't say I'm too surprised. I always liked a lot of "nellieball" stuff..always was frustrated by Nellie's tendency to try to gimmick a situation when that's not our best move. When we CAN play a good C and a PF...there's likely times that IS the smart move.

If I'm in a fight and I got a stilletto and a sledgehammer....I'd be dumb to toss one away and think style points matter. I want the options because I don't want to lose.

Uh... why? What did Ellis not do now? The teams that see him on top try and screen him immediately... team doesn't understand the basics of help defense.

Blake always had great playmaker instincts. He's rarely red hot as a shooter.

Barntrus and Harrington (despite 0 rebs :P ) were are best 3 players...

Wright deflected a couple passes in the zone..kept a O rebound alive..just missed that one easy one...

He got yanked for not following team philosophy. He should have taken it out to the arc and waited for someone to contest a 3 with 20+ on the shot clock. Rebel.

AMEN. Nellie the very antithesis of Phil Jackson's zen approach to coaching----be like water, flowing with the situation....Nellie forces every action into his narrow perspective....maybe that's why Phils got rings and Nellie doesn't
