Anyone want to pull all those old Miami threads?

Post#1 » by midranger » Thu Jan 10, 2008 3:23 pm

Where their fans were telling us how crappy our team is, and how they are title contenders. Some people just seem proficient at searching through the archives.

If so, please just post the links here rather than actually bumping them.

BTW, not meant to incite folks, but just for a laugh.
Please reconsider your animal consumption.

haven't they suffered enough?

and the answer to that is no, but with the way their team is looking it's not gonna get better for a while

so in conclusion, someone should do it

Bucks fans have had experienced the same tough period.

they just come out of the difficulty with 3 wins.
People who could find happiness in simple life must be a happy one.

yea, but then someone would pull up threads with us listing ourselves in the top 5 in the east. I was prob one of them.
That would make me too depressed.

Whoop de do. The past is the past.

I happen to agree with Mid, I was taken back by all the talk about Mo and Bell wanting to come to Florida to win a championship. I contended that the current Heat team isn't that much better than the Bucks and failed to see this championship team. A huge factor being age. They said I was crazy.

Well guess what? They are not much better than us and in fact are quite a bit worse.

If reflecting back on your recent championship helps you get through the days, great, but it means nothing to me and certainly doesn't make me think anything more about the Heat, other than the fact that they are a poor team with aging players and one superstar.

I'll go back and look for them as long as I can get a guarantee from MD that he won't e-stab, ban or suspend me for doing it.

Since you wanna live in the past I'll say that if it wasn't for the refs giving Wade a massive bj on every possession, you guys never would've sniffed the title.

But our chances>>>>>your chances at winning a title in the near future.

I think in the near future that Miami title is going to be viewed as more a fraud.

By not being able to follow up on the success in the subsequent seasons, nba fans will more remember the 25 free throws Wade shot in that one game than any type of greatness.

That said, I wish we had a player on our team at any point the last twenty years as good as Wade or Shaq.
