You got that right. I happened to have "America - f*** yeah" playing in the background while reading your post. Nothing today can top this, it's all downhill from here.

We need Boylan to give the dicks, pussies and **** speech to get the team going.

You had me at murdering Wallace. Du is just icing on the cake

One doesn't need to search the archives for long to know that if victories don't start coming in bunches soon, development minutes will. Here's general manager John Paxson from Dec. 27:

"If things don't start to turn around to where we play better and win more games, of course there's going to come a time where I'm going to have to see our young guys on the floor for significant minutes. I'm certainly not putting that on Jim now. That wouldn't be fair to him. I want him to go about this trying to do what he thinks is right in terms of tightening up our rotation and finding combinations on the floor that help us win games. We're still trying to do that."

I would think, based on the Bulls performance against the Knicks, you could safely say things haven't started to turn around.

Time for some significant minutes for the young guys.

We're dicks! We're reckless, arrogant, stupid dicks. And the Film Actors Guild are pussies. And Kim Jong Il is an ****. Pussies don't like dicks, because pussies get **** by dicks. But dicks also **** ****: **** that just want to **** on everything. Pussies may think they can deal with **** their way. But the only thing that can **** an **** is a dick, with some balls. The problem with dicks is: they **** too much or **** when it isn't appropriate - and it takes a pussy to show them that. But sometimes, pussies can be so full of **** that they become **** themselves... because pussies are an inch and half away from ass holes. I don't know much about this crazy, crazy world, but I do know this: If you don't let us **** this ****, we're going to have our dicks and pussies all covered in ****!

You might be on to something there. So Wallace is an ****, everybody else on this team is a pussy. We need to bring in some dicks to **** everybody.

I haven't thought we've turned it around at any point in the Boylan era really.

As I pointed out. Since Skiles has been fired, we've lost to every average or above average team we've played and have beaten the below average ones (up until the Knicks). We struggled to beat Milwaukee and Sacramento (and the Kings are a bad team who was missing their 3 best players on top of being bad).

Not like it will sound new coming from me, but we need to play the young guys. Nothing has changed with Boylan coming on board yet except that Ben Wallace is playing slightly harder which isn't actually impacting the games in any useful way.

I put it right up there with the "Coffee is for closers" speech by Alec Baldwin (or "Arec Bardwin" as Kim Jung Il likes to call him) in GlennGary Glen Ross, the "Sicilian" speech by Dennis Hopper in True Romance, and the "Greed is good" speech by Michael Douglas in Wall Street.

And I'm totally serious about that. That speech is without question the funniest speech I've ever seen in a movie. Hell, that whole movie is brilliant.

I totally agree.

My statement was more directed to those (maybe Pax) who saw a slightly more energized group, a looser Ben Gordon, more enjoyable practices, yada, yada, yada.

Don't forget the "watch" speech by Christopher Walken in Pulp Fiction.

Not to take this even further off topic but Mr. Brown's "Like a Virgin" speech in Reservoir Dogs is pretty darn classic.

What the **** was I talking about ?

MR. ORANGE
You said "True Blue" was about a guy, you said it's a girl who meets a nice guy
But "Like a Virgin" was a metaphor for big dicks.

MR. BROWN
Ok, let me tell ya what "Like a Virgin"'s about.
It's all about this cooze who's a regular **** machine.
I'm talking, morning, day,night, afternoon,
Dick, dick, dick, dick, dick, dick, dick, dick, dick.

MR. BLUE
How many dicks is that?

MR. WHITE
A lot.

MR. BROWN
Then one day she meets a John Holmes ****, and it's like, whoa baby.
I mean, this cat is like Charles Bronson in "The Great Escape." He's diggin tunnels.
Now she's gettin this serious dick action,
She's feelin something she ain't felt since forever. Pain. Pain

JOE
Chew? Toby Chew? No.

MR. BROWN
It hurts. It hurts her. It shouldn't hurt.
You know, her pussy should be Bubble-Yum by now.
But when this cat **** her, it hurts. It hurts like it did the first time.
You see the pain is reminding a **** machine what is once like to be a virgin.
Hence, "Like a Virgin."

From the same movie

These are your names--

Mr. Brown, Mr. White...

Mr. Blonde, Mr. Blue...

Mr. Orange and Mr. Pink.

- Why am I Mr. Pink?

- Because you're a ****! All right?

- Why can't we pick our own colors?

- No way. No way. Tried it once.It doesn't work.

You get four guys all fightin'over who gets to be Mr. Black.

They don't know each other,so nobody wants to back down.

No way. I pick. You're Mr. Pink.

Be thankfulyou're not Mr. Yellow.

But Mr. Brown, that's too close to Mr. ****.

Mr. Pinksounds like Mr. Pussy.

How about Mr. Purple?

That's sounds good.I'll be Mr. Purple.

You're not Mr. Purple.

Some guy on some other jobis Mr. Purple. You're Mr. Pink!

Who cares what your name is?

Easy for you to say. You're Mr. White. You have a cool-sounding name.

If it's no big deal to be Mr. Pink, you wanna trade?

Nobody's tradin' with anybody.

This ain't a goddamn ****'city council meeting, you know.

Now listen up, Mr. Pink.

There's two ways you can goon this job--

my way or the highway.

What's it gonna be, Mr. Pink?

Jesus Christ, Joe.****' forget about it.

It's beneath me.I'm Mr. Pink. Let's move on.

If True, THANK GOD.

I don't give a damn about this season anymore. Making the playoffs means nothing if we aren't making the ECF. Last year was a different story. We made progress. This year we have regressed.

Play the kids, and maybe we luck out and get a solid player in the draft and our guys come back next year. Hey even the Pats missed the playoffs one year in btwn Super Bowls. I know bad comparison, but it's not the end of the world to have one bad year. We can develop our youth, resign our guys cheaper, and possibly land a stud.

Not playing the young guys gives us a lot of losses, so not sure your point.

This would be a BIG PICTURE move. Find out what we have. If we get a top five pick out of it, so be it. I notice in games when two out of the three of Noah/Gray/Tyrus are playing, we seem to do better than the opponent. That's probably backups, anyway, these guys need to play.

If these guys can't play, Pax needs to know, to move on. This isn't a move because they are all guaranteed to play well. Or play well right away.

So if they lose ten in a row, please nobody ask me if I'm "happy now". Again, Pax needs to know what he has. As an example, the Bears didn't do this with Benson, and made a big move based on 'not knowing'. I would prefer Pax not have to do this.

Now, all that said, I will believe this when I see it. I'm not holding my breath. Fool me once, Pax, well, you know the drill.

It is a small glimmer of hope, more than I had yesterday. I'll take it.

See Joe Smith playing would make a difference if we were winning and in contention. We aren't despite the solid play of Smith. So his performance means nothing to me, good or bad. His ass needs to sit. When Joe Smith is your best big man, your team has major issues.
