And Shard dropped of the face of the earth apparently.

How many returns are there before the popular kids, aka starters, are announced?

From that, I think Hedo has about at 50/50 shot of going. You have to figure Sheed and D12 get the nod at center and LeBron, KG Bosh and Pierce are locks at forward -- it comes down to Hedo and Prince for the last spot. Right now I give Prince the edge but there is also a decent chance Hedo could get on the squad through injury.

He certainly deserves to be there imo.

Its annoying every time to me. Yi ahead of so many guys.. Bargnani?? LMAO.. Dude hasnt done jack **** all season and hes ahead of Shard? I dont mind I guess, but I cant help but be annoyed when players who arent deserving get votes. I really think Hedo should be in the ASG. 20/6/4 is awesome and hes helping us to the 3rd best record in the east and the top of our division. It would be a shame if he didnt make it.

I agree.

At the beginning of the season, I didn't think that Hedo would have a shot at the All Star Game, even if he deserved it. (Popularity factor)

To be honest, I didn't think he would even have himself in a position to be deserving of it though. What he's done thus far this season I think has put him in a position where he is certainly worthy of it; nevertheless, I have my doubts as to whether he will actually be selected or not.

Not nearly enough I guess :D

Its interesting usually we tend to go balistic in some internet polls but even the Italians did beat us for this one... even if Hedo gets not in I am glad that he is delivering finally. People here love to include him in trade ideas because his value was never higher but I do believe that it has not peaked yet

lack of support from turkey confuses me. They pretty much manage to win every other internet voting that has a modicum of nationalistic aspect by spending 13 hours in internet cafes. somebody needs to get the word out over there.

You guys should really look out the window, may happen after the next election who knows.

Ppl in europe don't care about basketball let alone the NBA AllStar Game, that's why Hedo wasn't voted in. Oh. and China is not europe, plus the chinese would do anything for their country as it is a SINGLE country (unlike europe).

The ones voting Bargnani were all in Canada and the US by the look of those numbers. He can walk the streets of Rome and nobody would recognize him, that's his fame right there.

i dont think turks care about ASG anymore. memo was in last year, and I believe the overall concensus was: "this is the notorious ASG? it's just a bunch of spoiled idiots playing streetball with no intensity"

i think hedo deserves it, but it really means nothing, it's just a popularity contest.
and yea, lol @ yi and bargnani comments. and hedo >> prince, i mean cmon!

Turkey banned YouTube so they have disappointed me a bunch. If Hedo was Greek, he'd be in.
