KG a wimp?
After getting pwned by Anthony Peeler in the playoffs I didn't think KG could get any wimpier until he wussied out when Felton stepped up to him.

Just to reinforce 2poor's point.
I don't see how in any way that clip "reinforces" anything. That clip shows Bonner commit a flagrant foul on Garnett, probably shouldn't have been ejected though. So how does it say anything about Garnett?
The fact is that Garnett like to talk and plays with a lot of intensity. He doesn't "back it up" with fighting, but if he did he would be an idiot because him getting suspended for fighting is detrimental for the team. He is doing the right thing by letting his lesser talented teammates get into instead of risking suspension for himself.

well taking aside that I'm a bit of a KG homer. what's so wrong with this one? he got pulled down and after he got up and tried to get bonner the refs and other players were the only ones who've been between them. dunno if he wanted to smack him up but it's not that he backed off as he did with mcdyess. and btw bonner pulled him from behind while he didn't have much of a great position to sustain that kind of contact. IMO the bonner incident is quite overrated to take it as a proof that KG is soft
and crying in an interview is a sign of passion and not a sign of being soft. and yeah I know your counter argument (morrison crying in a college game). that are 2 different situations. morrison lost an important game (was it NCAA final?) and KG did that in an interview about his team. that shows you that he's passionate about winning everytime. I doubt morrison would cry about that game now too

KG pretty much puncked out against McDyess in a Pistons/Wolves game last year as well. He got thrown out for throwing a punch as I remember. When Mcdyess came after him KG pretty much backpedeled at wanted no part of him. KG is a very intense player when playing, but he's pretty much a pussy cat.

because he might have realised by then that it's going be a failure to fight with him especially if you take the score into account (toronto being up by 6 or 8 at that point). I'm not saying that KG is tough or wants to fight and I'll admit that he seems soft sometimes but to take the bonner incident as a proof to say that KG is soft is actually bad

Look at the McDyess fight then, McDyess shoves KG and then KG throws the ball like a wuss, what happens next is very important though, KG waits for his teammate to step in AND THEN throws a couple of weak punches that hit air and then he starts backpedaling while continuing to hit nothing.
You see this is where I lose respect for him, at least Carmelo Anthony flat out ran away, he knew he was wussing out and he didn't try to cover it up. KG on the other hand just keeps talking but as he's talking he's running away and throwing weak punches that miss everybody. KG is trying to cover up his wussyness but is failing at doing so, much like he failed in the majority of his playoff series.

KG was being jerk against Bonner in that play. All it was, was a hard foul and he didn't need to react like a thug. If Bonner got ejected for that, Kg should have been aswell for going after him.
Also, Pape Sow would have dropped him if he actually made a move.

props to Turbozone for the sig
