I checked the PHX board and there is no discussion of it there, so I suspect the "friend" was referring to Chicago radio. Of course, this is as tenuous as it gets. Its probably not even being reported and is a load of crap.

This deal does make sense. Bell is the big two guard we need, Gordon,Hinrich and Bell would be nice. As far for Diaw, it gives us more assets to make a Gasol deal, by including him or someone that we wouldn't deal, but now will cuz we have Diaw.

The grizzles want to play like the Suns, so maybe Diaw and Noc plus a filler gets the deal done.

So this deal does make sense if it means, theres a chain reaction with other deals.

I live in Florida so don't know how good 670 the score is, but they havent said anything all day. What board was is it?

a Diaw/Bell for Wallace deal would be a shocker here in AZ. Mostly because Bell is not only the soul of the Suns (team doesn't really have a "leader") ...but more importantly that would leave PHX with only Barbosa for a shooting guard.

No talk whatsoever of that deal here in AZ

I don't think this deal makes the Bulls any better. Bell is good but not a difference maker. Diaw has 4 more years and duplicates what we already have.

Edit: Unless there is a third team involved that wants Diaw.
