I'm starting to think Phil doesn't like Bynum very much...

I hate when a fan of a bad team makes a thread about an incident on another team, and then he gets hated on for it..what the **** does his favorite team have to do with anything? he heard a story, so he posted about it..

apparently you have to be a fan of a good team to post any news about a team that is better than yours..stupidity..

Phil also said 50 wins isn't within reach. Can you guys say 'motivation ploy'?

Phil is just weird. I remember the Scottie Pippen number retirement in Chicago, Phil made it hilariously awkward. He pointed out all of Pippen's low points, and if he was trying to be funny, he failed miserably in the delivery

Pop did the same thing to Tony Parker, it's a commonality in major league sports for HOF coaches to call out young players in attempts to encourage them to work harder.

Correcting someone's spelling... Really cool

As for the topic, Phil has a history of using the media to motivate his players, which is what he is attempting to do here.

It's no secret that Phil wanted Jason Kidd here. He was openly panning for a Bynum/Kidd trade for about years. Now, he is just eating his crow and realizes that Bynum responds to criticizm/pressure so he might as well pack it on. Phil is going on 63 years old and wants to win NOW. The only way that happens is if Bynum becomes an absolute monster putting up close to 20/10/3 a night.

Do people know that Phil has a degree in psychology? The guy knows all the mind tricks there is.

He just wants to keep Bynum humble so he can keep working hard. The sky is truly the limit for the kid and Phil knows it.

Yup, Phil is playing mind games again.
You have to worry when Phil is not picking on you because that means he doesn't even want to spend time on you.
