Not this year they're not. Of course they're shooting better so there's less opportunity for offensive rebouds, but at the same time Okur hasn't been rebounding and the with AK out we might struggle.

What happened to Marion? I saw the play that took him down, but never heard any report on his status. Sprained wrist? fingers?

He took a very hard fall on his shoulder and elbow...you'd know it'll be very sore the next day...he probably won't play.

i actually thought he may have broken some ribs on that fall, he is very lucky

usually a fall like that, (marion has had a few) clips his wings when he next plays, he has come back quietly from falls before, like hes a little bit cautious etc

this game MUST be based around amare

do it dantonit

I don't know about you guys but I'm pretty excited to watch this game, maybe just to see something different. For once, we aren't expected to win so we can just relax, enjoy the game, know it doesn't mean anything overall and see how some guys we usually don't get to see play some meaningful minutes.

We probably won't win, but I want effort.

Go Suns.

Well...then. 20+ shot attempts coming up for Barbosa. I just hope he gets some assists along the way. :noway:

[quote="GoDogGo"]Given roles to play, both of them did great in the Dleague. Granted it was the DL but still they played well in the leadership roles.

Speaking of roles, Diaw plays point for his national team - let him play point tonight. I would love to see Boris playing out of the high post like Magic did once upon a time

Time for Diaw and Banks to prove their worth. Id like to see Banks play physical defense against Williams as id like to see him play physical defense against Tony Parker. Hopefully, we will see more of Amare and Skinner because we will need them together against the Spurs.

Well, as fas as Detroit beats SA, I'm not so worried about the outcome of this game. Of course i want PHX to win but without NASH, HILL and MARION is gonna be very hard.

And why not start Skinner, as has been suggested by many others?

Much as I love watching the D'antoni/PHX system, there comes a time - playoffs have shdown us - when you have to be able to run a traditional game as well as the .07 or less circus (and it's a hell of a circus when it's healthy)

"Honestly they can make one trade and change everything. Diaw just sucks right now and if they can package him with their Atlanta pick with some third team maybe they can land a player like Emeka Okafur who seems lost with Nazr. They need to address their rebounding woes. Hell... they should have traded for Nazr."

Coming from a Spurs fan, they seem to know more of our weaknesses than most of us, suns fans...

This is how I see it:
Amare, Diaw, Bell, Barbs, Banks
Skinner, Piat, Marks, Tucker, DJ

This is how I would do it:
Skinner, Amare, Diaw, Bell, Barbs With Diaw running point on O

Banks and Tucker come in and Skinner takes the break with Bell
Then Bell and Skinner back in for Amare and Barbs and so on.
Let Dj come in for a bit for Diaw and maybe Marks sees some time if foul trouble.
Piat should not be allowed to leave the bench unless it is a timeout or halftime.
