Marks: ~10 minutes to have 3 points, 5 rebounds, 1 assist
OR
Diaw: ~21 minutes to have 5 points, 2 rebounds, 2 assists.
im not sure if we have to compare their stats since Marks playing garbage time BUT maybe its worth trying to give him some playing time at the expense of Diaw. This will also challenge Diaw to try and get his PT.

hmm...nice idea but no one will trade for him..so the choice is to play Marks. I doubt if this will happen though knowing dantoni...

Boozer was still in; it's not a totally fair cop, but still - it shouldn't even be possible for me to make a case.

It felt kind of like watching a Twilight Zone NBA game, very different from the Suns we're used to, but good to see what the reserves are like nevertheless.
I guess we won't take Nash / Hill / Matrix for granted as much any more.

Suns fan during the KJ era (Coliseum), through the Barkley era (Am West Arena), and now the Nash era (US Airways Arena)!

Well I dont know what Diaw does with Dantoni behind close doors but he doesnt deserve more Pt than banks or Skinner. If the suns lose again this year. I think he is good as gone. Im glad he is willing to put his trust on Diaw who is garbage. the reason he isnt giving up on Diaw is because He is the guy that signed him long term. He doesnt want to look like a fool which I think that boat has sailed. Pride is come before the fall. I would love to see him get fired.
As for the Jazz. They really didnt prove anything. Injuries are part of the game but they should have dominated since the get go. Phx didnt have 3 regular starters and played into overtime the night before.
I thought the more I watch Dj the more I see him having a better understanding as to making PG plays. Dj may not be the best right now but I dont think he would do a behind the back pass to no one like Lb does. Dantoni lack of foresight and concept of the big picture is the main reason why Lb is still getting minutes as a PG.

I really dont understand why SDU and mkot defend antoni so much.. his shortcomings will really cost this team the championship...

Nash/Hill out for sure, Marion is a game-time decision. We called up Strawberry for the D-League, giving us 10 players if Marion plays.
lol can you imagine if he doesn't play? What kind of lineup would we roll out?
Barbosa
Bell
Diaw
Amare
Skinner
Banks
Strawberry
Tucker
Marks
Hahahahaha....oh man, we're going to get destroyed.
Can't say I'm too upset about this one....

It's tought for me to day this, but I am honestly glad I missed watching a Suns game this evening. I was already expecting a Loss with three key players out. But by reading and closely looking at the box score and play-by-play, it looked like a painful loss.
DJ was the only player with + on box score? Granted I am sure it was against scrubs, but it looked like he played with effort. What happened to Tucker? Didn't he play this week and not at all tonight? I guess we would have had to place another player on injure reserve, and they have to miss a certain number of games before coming back...
Anyways, glad to see Mike D use his bench and not run Amare, Bell, and LB for 48 mins. We all know he is capable of doing such a thing.
And who is B. Diaw? Did we just pick this guy up from the street? 34 mins with 2 rebs/2assts/5pts? 3-D indeed.... Congrats Diaw. A chance to shine and show some skills and you blow AND suck. Dind't think a person can do those two things at once, but you managed to do it.

Nice Buckwheat impression on that first sentence.

Tucker didn't travel with the team, and Diaw was having back spasms and probably shouldn't have played.
Marks played well for the mins he had.
For the starters, only Barbs and Amare had good games.
Piat's time on the floor just shows that some people get paid to do nothing. Man I want that job!
The good news is that everyone that suited up played 12 mins or more. Can't complain about that.

doesnt matter really diaw has to tough it out. Amare played with stiffness on his right knee for the first month of the season and he still did 20 and 8. Diaw rebounding or should I say lack their off is caused by his lack of effort. I know Boozer was held to 1 rebound but I dont think Diaw was any part of that.
whatver the reason Diaw's play is inexcusable. Im glad I saw Kenny Smith finally speak up vs Dantoni's coaching style because this is he knows what he is talking about. He won a championship vs the spurs and he wa coached by Rudy T. He has been around great players and great coaches which provides a bigger insight than any fan can bring.

Ok I don't rant very often, but this has just got on my nerves. What is with the National media? I can't understand it on multiple national media shows and during the TNT broadcast last night you'd think they were in denial that 3 of our 5 starters were out last night. They talked about the game as if we we're at full strength. I mean we were played Pike 18 minutes and they act like we were suppose to win.

What'd he say? I missed it.
