oh ok, the spurs lost. why were we talking about the suns losing? we'd be third regardless. but hey, that does mean we've got a legit shot at being number 1 in the conference in the next couple days. YES

We need to win the next three, and split the following four. I think we'll beat Cleveland and NY, but we're almost for sure losing at Detroit. That'll put us at 30-14. That'd be a real nice way to close January.

Cavs at Staples aren't too frightening. Lakers have played Phoenix and Denver very well, haven't lost to either team in 4 meetings this season. SA, Dallas, and Detroit are obviously good teams, but Lakers just blew out the Hornets by 30 on the road. I think they can win 2 of those 3 tough games.

^ So 8-2 is very possible, if not likely based on how well the Lakers have played the good AND bad teams this season.

Guys, Los Angeles Lakers are just damn good. Get used to it! :D

The NBA really needs to change how they do seedings. Screw division winners. They need to seed teams by record in each conference. Why the hell should a team be awarded a top 4 seed just because they win their division? **** that ****. Go by record.

With the list of possible losses you notated, I would be happy if we go 6 and 2, and then win all the ones we are supposed to win. That would give us 8 and 2 for the next 10 games.

We need some dancing emoticons or something on this board.

I won't be satisfied until the end of the season, though. We have to keep on playing the way we're playing.

Wow, what a pessimist attitude you have man. We are capable of beating all of those teams especially denver and phx whom we have beaten twice this season so far.

Isn't that what they did recently........Dallas/SA had the 2 best records a couple of seasons ago and they met in the 2nd round. I think the change you're asking for has already happened, but I'm not 100%....can anyone clarify?
