Hi Guys, just thought I would throw an idea out there to get an idea of the value of some players. I know most of you are very unhappy with Diaw and he has had a bad season, but I think he would be a very good fit at SF for the Bucks. We have a terrible SF rotation currently and if Diaw can get back to his old self, I think it would be massive for us.
I also think Dan Gadzuric would be perfect in your system. You get another big to use, runs the floor like a guard, very athletic, good shotblocker and can be a very good dunker. He does have a bad contract and hasnt been playing much, but like I said, he would be perfect in your system. Charlie Bell would also suit the Sun's style and can play 1/2/3. Has been in a shooting slump, but looks to be coming out of it now with two 20 point games and some good basketball.
Charlie Bell
Dan Gadzuric
2nd round pick
FOR
Boris Diaw
ATL 2008 1st
Do you think you are getting enough value back for Diaw and the pick, which currently is looking in the 15-20 range? I think salaries work too and if not, they aren't far off. Thanks guys and good luck in the playoffs, im hoping this will be your year.

That trade doesn't work under the cap. Boris is BYC so you can only use 1/2 of his contract for trade purposes. His trade $ value is actually lower than Gadz. I wouldn't be surprised to see the Suns involved in a Milwaukee deal but it will probably be as a 3rd party. I would think that Charlie V. would be the one they would be after. They do have that pick and $11m in trade exceptions to work with so they could be a valueable trade partner. I don't know though if you can use a TE in a 3 team deal. I know you can't include it along with a player. It has to be the TE for a player or the TE and a pick for a player.
I would think that most Suns fans would love it if they would trade the TE and the ATL pick for Charlie V. straight up. I doubt the org would do it though as they are already paying the lux tax and CV's deal would double when you consider the penalties.

In order for us to take Charlie Bell, it will have to be in exchange for Marcus Banks, how do the Bucks feel about him? He is a great shooter/defender.
I also think your right about Gadz, the problem with your trade is we take on too much salary with Gadz. Here is a trade that might work:

Storey and Piat get switched to make $ work. We could still trade the picks probably Mil feels they need more. I think this trade would help the Suns get deeper and more versatile. I believe Storey went to ASU, maybe new crowd favorite off the bench?

dude, i want to know what you're smoking!
wtf? There is no way that the Kings or the Bucks do that trade. And its been made VERY clear from some the users of this board that Phoenix does not want any part of Ron Artest even though, most of us who are smarter see the true value in Ron Artest and what he can do for our team. We turn two horrible contracts into CV and Artest, no way that would happen. And why the hell does Minnesota get our Draft pick!
