I'm not a fan of either Koufos or BJ Mullens. Neither of Ohio State's big men are that impressive.

They're less intriguing prospects than Anrew Bogut, both are soft big men. The Raptors need a guy like DeAndre Jordan.

He's going to be a top 10 pick. We're not going to get him.

Deandre Jordan is a very poor FT shooter. However he is a good rebounder which is something that the Raptors definetely need. Koufos I think is a more of a better overall prospect which is why he is projected in the lottery this year
and NBA scouts love him.

You have a better chance to teach FT shooting rather than trying to teach a guy how to rebound. I'd rather draft a guy that can't shoot freethrows, but will get you 7-8+ boards on a nightly basis. IMO the Raps need to draft a guy who's just gritty and does the dirty work ie fights downlow for offensive and defensive boards, hustles hard, plays good man to man D, etc.

On a side note I think the guys on Hoops (Jack, Sherm and PJ) last night said it best. The league overall has become very soft especially the way referees call touch fouls and there's more emphasis on having a finesse rather than toughness. This team has enough finesse players, the major component we have been lacking is toughness which needs to be addressed at some point, likely through this year's draft.

Are you serious? Koufas is a soft big man who likes to play outside and use his jumper. I swear we have a couple of those already.. no thanks.

Yea, I've seen this kid play, and he is extremly talented. I don't about being a Tim Duncan, but he'll definetly be amazing during his career in the NBA.

dude dont even mention him in the sentence as the great Tim Duncan..you do know you're comparing him to the best PF to ever play the game...

he's a soft euro, who has a nice post game, nice spins, fadeways, but that's not what we need...

We need rebounding, tougness, shot blockers, hussle guys, with nice post moves...

He's talented, buts he a project who needs alot of work. Also he's way out of our range and so is Jordan.

Guys, I'm going to be out the Raptors draft range. Besides the Raps already have Bargnani, I don't want to come in and steal his thunder.

Chuck, give me some props on the air, I'm going to be a star!

Let me guess - you are of Greek heritage aren't you?

Other than being tall, Kosta Koufos is not like Tim Duncan at all. He's got longer range but is a much weaker rebounder and is more of a high post center. He's also not the same kind of defensive force Duncan was in college. I think Draftexpress's comparison of Zydrunas Ilgauskas is a pretty accurate one.

Yup, if I was Paxson I'd chew my own arm off to get this kid on the Bulls. That would be a perfect fit.
