Rasheed Wallace demanding double teams on the box. That's what I like to see and expect to see more of in the playoffs. Some Threes are fine once he's created havoc inside the paint, then he can go inside out and become a threat from everywhere.
problems start occuring when Sheed goes STRAIGHT to the perimeter and never bothers playing inside.

The name of the game should be INSIDE OUT!

Rip and Chauncey didn't do anything in the second? What you're talking about is Walter Hermann playing a good quarter on Dirk.

And you can say egos be damned all you want from the comfort of your living room, but this is professional basketball. The number one responsibility is managing egos or you end up like New York instead of Detroit.

basketball is not a video game or a fantasy league. You can't just plug people in and out. There's got to be a flow.

The 1st quarter last night was a good example of flow. Flip didn't make a single substitution that quarter. When the courtside reporter asked him why he didn't bring in anyone off the bench that quarter he said the starters were on a roll and didn't want to break up their rhythm.

Vintage Rasheed Wallace. Classic Lindsey Hunter. Refined Tayshaun Prince.

After two distasteful efforts, this Pistons showdown with one of the NBA's top teams was as satisfying as a fine wine. A 22-2 first-quarter run put the Pistons in control, and they never gave the lead up, rolling to a 90-80 win over the defending champion San Antonio Spurs Thursday night.

Coach Flip Saunders figured his club would play like this after a listless outing in Dallas the previous night. "There was no question that we were going to come out tonight with a great focus and play well," he said.

What is with the insurgence of Ballboys lately? We get about 1 new poster per month on the Pistons board, lately we have had 2-3 per week.
