Let's just hope we don't lose another game for a while. J-Rich was just on fire. Oh well...

I agree with Friar Dan for the most part.

We lost because:

1. We were without 2 of our top 7 players in Davis and Ray.
2. Pierce didn't show up on offense.
3. Tony Allen didn't do **** when we needed him to score. 6 points, 0 rebounds, and 1 assist in 29 minutes, WTF?
4. We didn't play great D.
5. J-Rich couldn't be stopped.
6. We shot 4-20 from 3's.
7. We got outcoached. Why did KG play only 34 minutes when he wasn't in foul trouble??? We hadn't played since Saturday, how much rest did he need?

I actually am glad they didn't play Ray or Davis no matter how they felt. They hadn't played since Sat. While they would have been good to go the chances of injuring something else from the layoff are greater. Ray has pretty rigorous regiment he goes through to keep his body the way it is taking a couple of days off could be real significant. Obviously Big Baby takes the same kind of care of his temple and we wouldn't want him pulling anything either.

The refs, the layoff, the Bobcats, it was just one of those nights. Hell even Jessica Biel farts, the thing I am a little thrown on is the whole pick and roll thing. I know Rondo was blowing it but what was he supposed to do to make it right? I can't think of what he is going to do defensively 3 ft from the hoop that is going to bother Muhammed. I don't know that we had to play it that way anyhow and even if the coaches felt we did they have to find a better personnel fit than that.

At least if Felton was shooting it JRich wouldn't have been.

My thoughts exactly, the team had an off shooting night and couldn't get close to the rim for the most part. The ball movement was weak. The defensive rotations weren't there, which was surprising. I've been avoiding RealGM since the loss so I wouldn't have to read all the over reactions, but so far people are staying on earth for the most part. Very nice. Losses are going to happen, every team is going to have an off night, it has to happen in order to inspire focus anyways.

One huge reason: Points in the paint in the second half.

As it has been noted: PP was 1-9 from 3 point range and the whole team was 4-20. Instead of taking it to the hoop and at least trying to get to the line we just kept putting up long range shots in the hopes they'll fall in. Not a good strategy. The Bobcats on the other hand kept driving it to the hoop on us. That, to me is the story of the game.

Oh well. We're bound to have a stinker every once in a while. Moving on...

This is the kind of game that if it really mattered, Paul Pierce would have taken it over and won it for us. But what's the point? To do that he would have had to start driving the lane and taking hard fouls. I fully expect him to do that in the postseason, and have some spectacular games. But like a veteran running back, he probably knows that he shouldn't take that kind of punishment all season long. So maybe he's hanging back a little bit and lofting up threes, instead of slashing to the hoop every chance he gets. I'm cool with it. It's just playing smart.

And yeah, the refs sucked, but I'm almost glad that we didn't steal the game after playing such a stinker. We should know that we can lose, like anybody else.

That bothered me too. Couldn't figure out the zone D and watching Nazr Mohammed was reminiscent of watching Gadzuric score on Blount.

We lost because my remote control was not properly placed facing the TV on the upper shelf of the end table that is just to the left of my recliner....

Thus we weren't getting any of the calls from the refs and the shots were just not going in like they usually do.....

Its all my fault! ....... my bad! :D

Because Tony Allen loses the ball or makes a stupid pass that sails out of bounds more than any other player I've ever seen.

Charlotte played tough. Would've been close even with Ray and Baby in the lineup, IMO.

That game wasn't so out of ordinary for J-Rich either. He's that good.

ok...this is gonna sound simple but it's true....teams lose because they just do. Thats why it's hard to just lose 4 games this late in the season. Some nights nothing goes right, nothing works, everything goes wrong. Calls, bounces, shots, everything. No rhyme, no reason. it just does. 8)

They better win tonight.....I still can't stand the Nets.

JKidd will be good like always....Vince is a shell of his former AS Dunk Competition win self.

Jefferson probably thinks he's an AS type player.......if these 3 have big games we could be in trouble.

C's are bound to lose 2 in a row sometime this year.....I just don't want it to happen against the Nets!
