Hoopshype: Pietrus for either Gadzuric, Villanueva, etc.

Personally I'd go for Villanueva for Petey. He's not to expensive and we're talking about Pietrus.

If you don't like Charlie at least weigh it against Mickael.

6'10" versus 6'5", I go with the bigger guy.

It amazes me how many teams are interested in Pietrus. The Bucks want to off load a bad contract/unproductive player for him, which isn't going to fly.

CV is the only name mentioned that is worth any interest and that extra year on his contract like LF says, is going to hurt us this summer.

CV is an even swap. But could be an upgrade (yet as dumb as Pietrus). But we need size. Dang that 3.5 Mil for next year, not like we need Barnes anyways for next year. It is not like we are taking on ZBo.

no no no no no no....no villanueva no!!!..he's an absolutely IQ- less player, without range..we have already guys like charlie, : barnes or harrington for example. sing and trade pietrus this summer, but ONLY for a valuable PLAYER: for example a good point guard

bargs... sign and trade Pietrus?

I want some of what you are smoking. Pietrus is not going to get more than MLE. I bet he would not even get the whole MLE.

So why would any team trade with us when they can get him for free?

That is the main reason I want CV... get one more year of service without losing Pietrus for nothing. And at the same time, get someone a little bigger than Big Al to do the work at 4/5. And he can chuck from 3.... uh.... something that some of our fans think it is required to be a Warrior (I want Wilcox just because he can't chuck, but that just me).

Sorry Bargs,

Pietrus is a bad sign-and-trade candidate for the Warriors this offseason. His play has regressed and he is not expected to get a significant pay raise, so the max levels the Warriors can facilitate for him are irrelevant.

More importantly, the Warriors have no interest in ever dealing with Happy Co. (Pete's tag team of agent-imbeciles) again.

Yuck no Gadzuric but I'd take CV in a second if the price is just Pietrus.

Petey for CV is fair. I'm willing to hamper our free agent flexibility a little bit. CV makes around $3.5 mil next year, so it's not like it will kill us.

That's actually a sensical trade which even works on trade checker. One dimb $**** for another dumb $****, what do you expect, someone to take your dumb **** and give you a rhodes scholar back? I agree, that's about as fair a deal as you can get in today's trade market. We take a bit of a salary hit, but we get someone who fills more of a need. Apparently Milwaukee fills more of a need as well, since they seem to be settled on Yi at the 4 spot. Gadzuric and his ridiculous stays home, however. I wouldn't take his umongous salary even if they threw in their #1 unprotected

Barnes expiring three million deal would offset carrying CV's 3.5 mil next year.

Count me in for a Pietrus CV swap. As has been said, the IQ swap is negligible between Pietrus and CV. CV has the skills and size that would fit in well here. CV could be a useful piece off of the bench, especially if Nellie can reach him. I have to admit though that the biggest reason I want CV is for Mullin to expand his collection of TMNTs.

why not. CV at PF couldn't be as bad at MP at PF, could it? AL can stay in the 6th man role, or mabe CV becomes the 6th man.

I don't want to replace MP with someone who might be as bad or worse. Just let MP walk.
