as bad as larry hughes contract is i think brian cardinals just might be even worse. memphis gets some nice pieces in sasha and gooden so it seems like a cool deal actually. good job man.

The Cavs could pick up Limb-less Joe from around the corner and give him 7 mil a year for 3 years, still wouldnt be a worse deal than Hughes'

Not bad. I think Gooden and Hughes (if healthy) would probably start though.

I think that's a little too much for the Cavs to give... Give us Swift us instead of Cardinal, and maybe we'd do it...

This is an absolute steal for the Cavs, and they would be stupid not to do it.

It's iffy for Memphis. Hughes has a terrible contract, but could improve lots by once again playing up-tempo ball.

I think Cavs say yes, Grizz say no.

I don't think it's a steal. How is it a steal? I think both teams benefit from the trade. While the Grizz have to take on Larry Hughes' contract, the fact they get rid of the meaningless Brian Cardinal all then makes up for it. Hughes needs a change of scenary and a different offense. I believe the Grizz use an up-tempo style, and he would benefit in that.

Drew Gooden and Sasha Pavlovic is all but equal value for Mike Miller. Hughes is equal value for Cardinal and Damon Stoudamire. Shannon Brown is equal value for Hakim Warrick. So, all in all, I think it is an equal trade.
