Hey guys, as you may remember, I'm on a never ending quest for medical residency.
I interviewed at Tufts (New England Medical Center) today, and was wondering if anyone else was in Boston and wanted to watch the Bucks game tonight on ESPN at some bar. It sucks to drink (and watch the Bucks) alone.
Adamcz, this means you.
Anyway, sorry for posting this here.
Anyone in Boston right now?

Hey Mid,
I live in Cambridge and am probably going to be near Porter Sq tonight...that's actually closer to Tufts of course, but I suppose you're not going to be around there at all.
Fenway's probably the best part of town for sports bars, which is down the Green Line from you (take the Kenmore stop). I've watched a number of Badger games at Game On, which is on Landsdowne St. right by Fenway. They've got other places there as well. Given it's an ESPN game and the C's are playing early I can't imagine it will be hard finding a place to watch the game, so it probably comes down to how much you care about being in a sports bar vs. being at a more random bar with a smaller TV.

Yeah sorry guys. I got some rotten family news on one of my interviews and just decided to screw the updates.
I will say that since I wrote about Lexington, I've been in...
Milwaukee, WI
Los Angeles, CA
Madison, WI
St. Louis, MO
Cleveland, OH
Boston, MA
Sunday, I leave for Cleveland again. Then Detroit. Then Des Moines. Then Louisville. Then San Francisco. Then Rochester.
Ugh.
I exhausted just thinking about it, and need a drink.
If anyone has any questions on the cities that I've been to, let me know.

That's the problem with the T...it's beyond moronic how it shuts down by 1. Especially if you're watching a game that starts at 10:30. I hope the cab companies are paying someone a lot of money to keep the T from staying open until a reasonable time. Makes no sense.
Hope your visit went well.

Well, I did just back from from spending 2 hours drinking by myself, so yes I belong in Wisco.
In all honesty, I'd never leave Madison if they wanted to keep me. Best city that I've ever been in. That said, I've fallen in quasi-love with Boston in my 1.5 days here. It is a beautiful city. The folks downtown may be a little pompous about the east coast, but I've come to expect that. I really like everything else. Very walkable city. Try the Harpoon I.P.A. Not as bitter as some, but still full flavored.
