What about the people that had cash on that game? Do the bookies refund the bets for that? Doubt it.

The solution is simple.

The Hawks should have to forfeit the game... no questions, as this is the second time in two years they have done major errors. The organization must be held accountable for its lack of responsibility in engaging adequate personnel for these duties

Just read this. They are repeat cheaters, what a shameless team.

Also, the NBA is toeing a dangerous line here. Where do they draw the line? This could set a really bad precedent.

Yup...If the home team is losing, they could get their scorekeepers to make a mistake on purpose. If they make a come back and win, they ignore the mistake and don't complain. If they lose, they can complain and have a 2nd shot of making a come back to win the same game.

Some one forgot to tell them this is the NBA and not SEC Football, where everyone cheats/

Simple... you are responsible for your scorekeepers. They are not hired by the NBA, they are hired by teams. If they screw up to hurt the home team, so be it.

They are only replaying the final 51 seconds.

Yeah I know which makes it even more stupider 1 player fouled out for 59 seconds in a game and they have to replay it? maybe if they fouled him out at half time, but 1 minute left whats the guy going to do? thats a big stretch to assume he could have done anything in that time, not enough to replay the game over. But the NBA doesnt care about that, they're just doing PR showing all the fans theyre seriouse about cheating or fixing of games, so then I ask why dont they replay the playoffs Raptors vs New Jersey where a known and admited cheater was operating?
