No everyone is sucking but it's the new in thing to do now to blast Iguodala no matter what happens.

I wouldn't say ... no matter what happens ...

Iggy has the look of someone who thinks he is a fantastic player and is surrounded by dopes. But the truth is ... he may not be as fantastic as he thinks he is. I have said it before ... he is a good defender and a good dunker off of lobs and fast breaks. He can make the corner 3-pt shot. On the other hand, he does not pass well and dribbles too much when he gets the ball ... basically, whenever he gets the ball he tends to make a mistake with it unless he is dunking it. He looked much better with Iverson around because he never got much of a chance to do the things he is not good at ... passing or shooting .... all he got to do was dunk it.

Atleast Carney takes it strong to the hole. Iggy never does so. I guess that is a plus to Carney's game for the Sixers.

I just find it humors that you can gather a opinion of a person by the way they look. I think it's weak and narrow minded to believe he can't dribble shoot or pass sounds like a very biased opinion to me. Oh and yes it's no matter what happens even when he plays well people still bitch and complain then they pile on him when he doesn't play a great game. If he isn't a star if he's a 3rd option at best people need to get off his nuts then.

On a more important side note we have our tanking lineup in..

Williams
Young
Carney
Smith
Booth

Looks hot doesn't it :).

you guys are a bunch of **** idiots.

I can't wait for us to trade Iggy......because when we do maybe then you guys would see how good he is. He's not a number one yes......but place ANY star in the league ( yes even your precious Brandon Roy) on this team and they to would B&M. I'm not that good at ball but I've played with guys who make me look like MJ and got blown the feck out of the water. I was pissed and Frustrated. So I can only imagne how Iggy feels because these guys are in the NBA and thus they can't suck too badly.....right.

BUT NOOOOO let's trade a 23 year old guy with upside because......he's not a true number one......

Well, how else should one form an opinion about a baskeball player's skill level other than observing them.

Cassidy wrote: I think it's weak and narrow minded to believe he can't dribble shoot or pass sounds like a very biased opinion to me.

Weak and narrow minded ??? Biased ????

Where do you get that from ? It is my opinion based on observing him playing the game. It appears that you do not know what those words [weak and narrow minded & biased] mean.

And btw ... I don't believe I said he can't dribble. On the contrary, he dribbles too much.

Even Nocioni is better at driving to the basket than Iguodala. Nocioni just won the Bulls the game with that drive and score.

Look, Igoudala is not a bad player. He just got some bad advice ... turning down 57 million ... and that is going to haunt him for some time now. I don't see how he can ever end up signing with the Sixers because he will be embarassed about that when he sees what they are going to offer him. He will have to come up with some reason that he no longer wishes to play for the Sixers and then either leave as a free agent or get traded. I think he is gone.
If you cannot convince others that you are right, you probably aren't.

Iggy got his butt whooped this game just like a little spoiled punk brat at recess in the school yard without his momma around. Iggy limped off the court looking defeated mentally, physically, spiritually, socially, and for good measure sexually.

Not so sure Iguodala is going to leave the Sixers b/c he turned down the money. Biggest disappointment tonight was missing his foul shots. It was a physical game, and he got to the line...need to make those.

Biggest difference between Iguodala's drive and Nocioni's drive is how the teams closed the lane. Smith should have stepped in front of Nocioni the way the Bulls did all night to stop the Sixers drives. Hopefully that will be a lesson learned for Smith.
