That wasn't really Gordon's fault though. He received the ball in a spot where he had no choice but travel pretty much.

You are correct, but i've seen alot of talk of BG at the point this year. That would be ugly imo. I've never seen a guy pick the ball up on hte baseline or dribble off his own foot on a crossover as much as BG.

Yeah Kirk made him travel or do you blame the shoes?

Know the game. Watch the game. Understand the game. Kirk gave him the ball in a position where the only thing that was going to happen was getting trapped, or traveling. You can not do that.

While that's not true, Gordon was supposed to be moving to take the pass in a better location.

how do u keep wallace in the game at a point like this?
I have a soft spot for tall, skinny, athletic big men who have little offensive game.

That is very true. But was BG supposed to come out to receive the ball earlier? Did the defense force Kirk closer to the sidelin, and to BG, then the play is designed for? Did Kirk dribble too close to BG on his own? Lots of variables thahat could contribute to screwing up what should be a relatively simple play

Why is Duhon coming in for BG? Is this a offense-defense switch?

So the placement of the pass made Gordon travel while he still had his dribble? I ain't buying it, the trap hadn't gotten close enough nor was Gordon moving when he caught the pass. He didn't have to travel.

Perhaps (I mean we don't know the play), but if Gordon's in a bad spot Hinrich has the choice to not pass doesn't he? The end result was a bad decision by Kirk that resulted in a turnover

Not if he was already where he was supposed to be. Kirk almost turned it over himself and to prevent from doing so, he dumped it off to Gordon in a very bad spot. Gordon had virtually zero time to react.

Why is Kirk giving it to Thabo? He is an AWFUL FT shooter...Kirk shoots 90%!

EDIT: MAJOR props for knocking down 2 huge FTs...for a kid who's like a 60% shooter from the line, that's a great job of coming through in the clutch

Dalembert pushes off on Smith...offensive foul

Bravo...someone else finally sees that. While i think Hinrich is far from perfect he takes a lot of blame for "sloppy" play that isn't always on him. Basketball 101 teaches you to move to the ball not stand there waiting for it. To many Bulls this season have been flat footed on every play. Watch Joe Smith step into the pass on the pick and pop and you'll see a guy that knows how to play.

He started to pass the ball before he realized that Gordon was still in the corner and then Gordon snapped to attention and ran over. The announcers then mapped out how Gordon needed to be further up on the play.
