Whatever it is with the Stro deal. It makes no sense.
The Griz weren't doing very well with Stromile playing a limited role, so now instead of Stromile playing a limited role he isn't playing at all and Warrick is playing a limited role instead and the Grizzlies still aren't doing very well.

Gasol and Miller, meanwhile, continue to log major minutes along with Navarro, while Memphis is at or near the bottom of the NBA in several defensive categories.

Great game by Pau, but he got a ton of shot attempts. Stromile's career high for shot attempts in a game is only 18. I'd like to see what Stromile could do with that many shots in a game.
I know Stromile wouldn't shrug his shoulders the way Gasol has been doing all season....
The best thing about Pau's game vs the Warriors was the he was really aggressive. He's at his best when he's really attacking the basket and using his skills to be aggressive and get shots close to the basket and pressure defenses.
He also has to bring it on both ends of the court, not just the offensive. No more statue defense with his hands straight up in the air. No more games finishing with only 1 foul while Stromile Swift and Darko Milicic both have 5+ in under 20 minutes.
another example memphis fans are not living in the real world:
the so-called statue defense.
seemingly, gasol plays no defense, but swift and milicic do.
numbers say:
with gasol on court, we allow an effectivve fg of 49
