To both people who replied to my post. This is my personal opinion, feel how ever you want to feel about it, but don't question intelligence over it. I don't like the way BC is going with the team, with this soft image of euros... I want more athletism and talent on this squad. And if I say, I want more black players on this squad.... AND WHAT? IT doesn't mean anything, it doesn't mean I don't want any white players on the squad, it's just my personal feeling. Feel how ever you wish to feel about it.

I love how the argument is "no more Euros, why can't we draft NCAA". You draft the guy who will be the best impact on the team. End of story. If there is a better NCAA player, BC will take him. If not, he will go European.

Pekovic seems to have a really nice post game, which you don't see a lot of in Euroleague centers, but I'd rather have Devon Hardin if we have a chance to get him.

Nikola Pekovic having a good season, averaging 18pts/8rbs in euroleague. Definately worth keeping an eye on.

1- I like _______ we can draft him...

2- BC will/will not draft him- only loves Euros..

3- Not another Euro!! I want NCAA guys..

4- STFU who cares about his race, as long as he can help us if he's white black green red, blah blah blah..

5- Euros are soft, look at the last Euro we drafted, bust.. Only few good Euros..

6. Name calling...

7. More racial comments...

and repeat for next draft thread..

Why does every draft thread turn into this whole racial debate about Euros and black players and NCAA and busts?... just comment on the guy or else STFU... If you want to hype a certain player go ahead, but lay off the excessive euro bashing stuff.. If you're a closet racist keep it to your damn self...I don't like BC's style that much either but these threads are turning into the new TJ vs Jose...

Except that Pekovic is the only euro C who is not soft and doesn't float around in 3pt land w8ing for a pass to shoot, he bangs down low and likes the contact.

Who are these strong NBA Cs you all speak off, i think people are living in the 90s there are about 10 strong NBA Cs who are worth something others are soft euro bigs or stiffs.

Pekovic would do just fine in the NBA especially because he has a frame on which he can still put muscle on, and i bet he will.

A poster before me tryed to find a comparison to an NBA player, D. Howard - the hops, would be it, strong, only plays around the basket and a good rebounder.
