LOL at no game thread for the Sonics!

I guess this is a wierd way to start one, albeit delayed a tad bit.

Waiting for the box score to update, but I liked the play of Diop and Dampier today. Bass, George and Juwan played okay with the time they were given as well.

Great game defensively by Terry. 2 blocks, 4 stls and 3 reb to go with his 11 points on 50% shooting.

Dirk only played 30 min. 20 pts, 6 reb, 2 ast. Give Avery some credit for playing the bench and pulling out the starters once we established the lead.

Dampier only had 4 pts, but he had 10 boards, 2 dimes & 2 rejections in 27 min. His counterpart, Diop, added 10 pts & 5 boards in 18 min. He had a little hustle that did not show in the box as well. Now that is the amount of min I expect Diop to get every night, not the 3-6 he has been getting.

Bass was active tonight as well with 8 pts, 3 reb, & a blk in 19 min.

Howard had another good game with 18 pts, 11 reb & a stl, but Avery played him too long (35 min).

Stack, well, :nonono:

The last 2 games, Harris has not played to expectations. Hopefully he will bounce back.

His defense sucked and he had a 4:5 ast to TO ratio. He seemed to always be out of position, but he made up for it on the offensive end.

Not just reading the box...watching the game.

He still had 2 sub-par games in a row.

Are my eyes deceiving me??? Looking at the box scores, it seems both teams combined to score 7 freaking points in the 4th qtr (DAL 5, SEA 2 :o ).

Devean George is this years Buckner... Bass had some careless mistakes, but hes been pretty solid for a few games now. Overall, the last 3 quarters were pretty good on both sides of the ball.

Hey, George had 5 reb & 2 pts in 12 min. He also defended his man pretty good also. Hopefully Avery plays him more so he can get out of his shooting slump. But with him having a 1 year deal and R. Terry doing well in Euro, George's days may be limited.

Hassell is this year's Buckner...solid defensive 2 guard that Avery just doesn't play.

Hassell needs to get more time, I think he's better than Buck, he seems to be able to hit an open jumper at least. And I never thought much of Buckner's defense and haven't seen enough of Hass really to judge him, but he needs more PT.

Our defense tonight was sharp so that was the big plus. Otherwise, it was a pretty boring game with both teams struggling offensively.
