Before I get lynched, I know this is NLK's turn, but no one had started one yet, and I'd like somewhere to discuss Sundays game. I also wanted to post a MemoraBULL Moment, but again, no where to do it. Please feel free to erase this when NLK's is up. Sorry if I offended anyone

Phillips Arena
Atlanta,GA.
Sunday 1/13/08
Time:1:00PM
TV: WGN,,NBALP
Radio:ESPN1000, SIRIUS

The Chicago Bulls (14-20) overcame an 18 point first-half deficit and actually took a 14 point second half lead, but the 76ers would storm back to get within 3, but it wouldn't be enough as the Bulls pulled out a 100-97 road win. Chicago will now head to Atlanta for a Sunday matinee against the Hawks (15-17). Atlanta is coming off a 102-98 loss to the Wizards on Friday, and are 10-8 at home this season. Chicago will now try to win their 2nd straight, as they look to keep things rolling! BULLS....HAWKS....NEXT!!!

MemoraBULL Moment:

Image

On March, 25,1995, in just his 4th game back, Michael Jordan would add yet another great moment in his already stellar collection. With the Bulls trailing the Hawks 97-98 at the Omni, and with only 5.9 remaining, Michael would bring the ball all the way up the court, and fake left and then right, calmly nailing the 16 footer over Steve Smith as time expired, for a 99-98 win. It was the first game winner for Michael since Game 4 of the 1993 NBA Finals.

That was, I believe, actually after the Game 1 loss to Orlando in 1995, but I couldn't find a better pic for the Bulls/Hawks 3-25-95 game! :banghead:

Guys.. I'll be at that game sitting courtside. I hope Ben Gordon explodes for 35 or so points on these guys.

Any suggestions to posters?? ( I wanna bash Paxson so bad).

Bulls must begin to establish consistency in order to start something. With possibly Luol Deng out again for this game, look for Andres Nocioni and Joe Smith to both lead the team on offense. Hopefully, Joakin learned his lesson and will be an asset off of the bench against some of the Hawks' young bigs, as well as Aaron Gray. Getting back on defense will also be key to beat some of Atlanta's guns like Josh Smith and Joe Johnson. Would be nice to make it two in a row on the road trip.

man that's one of the best memorable moments. I remember seeing that shot live and thinking it's just a matter of time before we're on top again. That's also some quality red kerr flipping out at the end. Say what you want about red kerr, but his yelling after big shots is still my favorite.

Maybe Deng/Noc could use some of these...

If Boylan doesnt give plenty of mintues to Tyrus, Noah and Gray in this game ill be very dissappointed. Which is why im already dissappointed.

The Hawks are full of young forwards, that are you just going to out-jump and out-run Joe and Wallace. Though we may need Joe's scoring, i would like Wallace's mintues to stay under 30mins in this game, since the Hawks are a poor rebounding team anyhow, im sure our young front court can handle them on the glass.

Boylan, get your shhh together.
Why so serious?

Please I hope the Bulls show up with extra energy against this athletic Hawks teams. No Deng again hope Andres bring it again. Hopefully Someone can contain Joe Johnson (Thabo, Kirk). Gordon needs to bring his scoring punch.

If you're still posting you haven't given up on this team. I haven't either. Celtics lost to the wizards. Sometimes upsets just happen. I had hope for this team until we lost to New York a few days ago. But I'm over it. The win against the sixers might not have been pretty but it's a win. I actually think we have a chance to get a good streak going.

C'MON BULLS... BRING IT!

Has Boylan changed the starting lineup yet? :banghead:

If not, I'm tempted to not check in on this game till about the 4:00 minute mark of the first when Duhon and hopefully Wallace, are out of the game and see if the Bulls are competitive at that point. :-?

Wallace will probably still be out there watching whoever he's covering shoot uncontested 12 footer after uncontested 12 footer.

But Gordon should be on the floor by that point.

Dont know if this has been reported yet.

But the Bulls had a team meeting, and decided that Noah should sit one more game.

No joke.

So is Deng playing or not? I can't find any info on that.

And if Noah isn't playing, Tyrus probably will get alot of minutes tonight.

Should be a win.

Return to Chicago Bulls
