Why for Orlando: Fills needs at PG and PF. Wallace would fit perfect into the Magic's lineup. Duhon would be the defensive PG the Magic desperately need.

Why for Chicago: They get out from uunder Wallace's ugly contract and get a ton of expirings. Battie will bring a lot of what Wallace does but much cheaper. Redick brings another offensive weapon.

Magic do it in heart beat. But Bulls??? I don't see why they do this at all.

If they want to re-sign all their young players they need out from under Ben Wallace's contract or else risk becoming the new Knicks with a cap number in the 400 millions.

We'll pass on Wallace's contract.

Wallace's contract puts us in a stranglehold for 2 years. But we are in it regardless. Orlando will only be able to improve via the draft or MLE with or without Wallace's contract.

It's fair, but Ben Wallace is a bad fit next to Dwight. He needs a player that can at least make a midrange jumper.

The Magic turn this down because Wallace is not much better than Adonal Foyle and Wallace is 2/28 after this year.

Ben Wallace's contract is actually irrelevant to resigning the rest of the team.

But it would be nice to move it anyway.
