You wanted Gomes and you think Ersan blows we got it.

I'm not sure why my statement is so outrageous. Seems rather obvious and hardly "utterly ridiculous."

Whether we have Gomes or Ersan right now wouldn't matter more than 2-3 wins......If we had Chris Paul we are a lock for a top four spot in the East.

That's easy to say now, but at the time the Bucks had both T.J. and Mo on their roster , and had the opportunity to draft the player of the year who played the most difficult to fill position and also a position of need for the Bucks.

I recall no one who was making a case for the Bucks drafting anyone other than Bogut or Marvin Williams. No one. In fact, it would have made absolutely zero sense.

In hindsight, sure. But there was no way that Paul or Deron Williams would have made sense with that pick at the time.

You'd be wrong. My answer was clear and succinct.

And frankly I'm not interested in repeating it all again - I'm more interested in wondering what the hell is happening to Ryan Grant.

Not only that we might have one of the best back courts of all time.

That trade does nothing for our team. Walker is done, Gomes is to be determined and the pick would be useless unless its unprotected, which it wont be.

Nobody has been training Bogut. Thats the problem! We need a guy like Patrick Ewing to show Bogus some post moves.

Edit: Cant spell Patrick

So is it from a poster or a MJS reporter?

I would do this in a heartbeat. Gerald Green can be a star if we change coaches to teach him.

Gomes is a monster on some nights and can post up. Walker is ok and a vet.

This to me is a major boon. You dont know what you are talking about who dimiss this deal.

You get rid of a guy who is not happy here in CBell and you add Gerald Green a future Superstar if guided right. He should have gone to college and learned how to play...But his talent is off the chain.

He is more worth the gamble then weak Charlie is. I love the deal if to get Bell and Villanueva out of here, much less Gadzuic's money.

You could probaly move Walker back to Miami?

This was just from a poster......no legitimacy to it whatsoever.......I wanted to highlight it though because it was a fascinating trade the guy made up. It wasn't your run of the mill type trade....he really had to think about this one and know Herb and the team's cap situation in the years to come. Whether you liked the deal on its merits or not, it hit a lot of bases.

europa wrote:Hardly. I never said I wouldn't trade for Gomes. I simply said it would be a bit depressing to give up anything to get him given how I think he should already be on the Bucks' roster. He's the guy I wanted the Bucks to take. Instead, Harris went with Ilyasova, who's been a bust.

You've outdone yourself, Europa. That's the first time I've ever heard a 20 year old labeled as a bust. That's got to be some kind of a record...

Ersan was widely considered to be one of the best 18 and under players in the world prior to his ankle injuries - and even after his injuries, he was considered lottery-type talent. If you thinking taking a flier (with a 2nd round pick) on a player who was being described as,

A special talent ... Dynamic, charismatic player with a great feel for the game ... Combines freakish athleticism with a great skill set ... Has enormous potential ... Seems to rise when it matters most... One of Turkey's best prospects ever... Shoots well, has a good face the basket game with the ability to shoot off the dribble ... Has great vision and creativity ... Handles the ball exceptionally well ... Perimeter skills are very advanced for his age ... Understands the game and always seems to be two steps ahead of his opponenets ...

was a horrible pick because we passed on RYAN GOMES, you have more screws loose than I thought....

the poster who came up with this deal must think the wolves are dumb

why would we trade
walker 2 year deal(we are after 2 year deals)

Gomes exspiry (plus hes becoming the wolves most consistant player hes numbers as of late had been great)

Green - we dont know how he will turn out

1st - lol now why would we have too throw in the 1st and take on big contracts as well

oh yeh and dont forget wolves cant trade any more picks and we arent giving up our pick when we are rebuilding

it doesnt seem fair that wolves trade 2 exspiry's plus a pick and a 2 year deal for a 4 year deal and a 3 year deal that are big ,not forgetting there wont be enough roster spots for picks after this
