Just on general principles....Darren Daye? Unless you're related to him....

j/k, if you can't tell....

:) No, I am a Celts fan and I pick an obscure former player name to use.

As for why I'm posting here, the Celts game thread is dead. I have the Washington TV feed (I live in NY) and was puzzled why all of the replays focused solely on the trip and not the real-time angle from behind. I was curious to see if the local fans on here felt the same way and or would also point out this fact.

When I saw comments on clear-path, I simply wanted to offer an account of the rule. I'm not going to post here all night, just on that one play. Enjoy the rest of the game.

darren daye, Phil and Buck played the replay which clearly showed Garnett tripping over his own feet and I believe they at court side feel there was no foul.

I believe Mason jostled KG just enough to affect his stride length, thus a foul and it had to be a clear path (which I knew before you posted).

I just get into the game and don't correct the other team's posters DURING a game.

You can do as you please, DD, but I just want to leave no uncertain terms how I feel.

Oh, and BTW, I was a huge Darren Daye fan when he was a Bullet and even remember him when he was at UCLA.

Unless you're a mod, I believe it's also against TOS to act as one and/or in a harassing manner. I neither was critical of the Washington players nor of any of the posters on here. I shouldn't be held accountable if you happen to be hyper-sensitive.

I remember Darren Daye as well with the Bullets, sort of athletic, not a good player, but one you'd hope would develop into something more.

No, and I'm sure you won't be. But I think you do need a pony.

gowiz999 wrote:Well that was pretty terrible. Yeah we are down 1 but the Celtics are a great 2nd half team. NJ was hammering them after the first 2-3 quarters last night but Boston came alive late and blew them away. It's a shame really because if Caron, AJ, or anyone really had done anything at all offensively we'd have a 10 point lead.

Yes, all true, but shooting 33% and up 1 at half means they'll probably shoot it better in the second half.

Washington's battled hard on the boards, and the Celtics are also coming off a back to back. They get tired, too.

If the Wizards own the boards again in the second half I think they'll win. Butler and or Jamison is due, and Stevenson's on today, as is Mason.

All the Wizards have to do is rebound and let Daniels drive, while keeping enough bigs on the boards. They've got a good shot tonight.

 Fair enough. Ok, I'm back to my home base over on the C's board. As you can see, I've been posting on here for years and I think my "record" speaks for itself in terms of my not being an instigator type. Have a good night.

Why do your announcers say Fleet Center? They've said it three times now, but that isn't our arena's name for 3 seasons now. It's TD Banknorth Garden.

Ah, this is panning out just as I expected. We can't even get a good shot off on offense.

The offense looks great! See this is why I wasn't happy at all with the first half only being up by 1.

I think Pierce pissing off Butler can only help tonight.

Even AD is throwing the ball away.. SMH. We play the same panicky way every single time against good teams. Come on Wiz, pretend you are playing against Miami.
