that's like saying Michael Olawokandi will outplay Dwight Howard

Bargnani is noo where near LaMarcus's level.

Can you post anything to counter his statement. Bargs has a long ways to go just to get to consistent bench contributor at this point. Hopefully it will click for him during sometime during this season. Then again, wasn't he 18 at the time he was drafted?.

Portland fans knock it off. Do not come over here and cause problems. If they put the Blazers down, just let it go. God knows their team will be put down on our board by plenty so it all evens out.

Good luck tomorrow guys. Looking forward to a good game, although it's darn early!

Go Blazers! :)

I have no need to counter such a (Please Use More Appropriate Word) statement from that troll, nor is this the topic to do so... go look for the topic "Bargs' rebounding has reached new hights".

The comments that have been posted so far have been pretty mild. I see no problem with poking fun at the raptors, as long as its all in good fun. They have a good young team and very enthusiastic fans, a good place for a franchise. They hopefully know which posts to ignore and those to respond.

We need to even the score with these guys... hopefully our guys bring it for a monster game... If Bargs is really human and not an android he should be more pumped than usual considering who he's playing... I want to see him drop 20+ again... if he can do it against Detroit he can do it against anybody...

Portland is not a pushover anymore though, it'll be interesting to see if they can do the same thing they did in Portland here...

how did we get lucky?? and who are u calling scrubs?? ur just jealous u ended up with Bargnanani ( wanna be dirk) while we got future stars in Aldridge and Roy.

hey listen man, im a huge raptors fan, but i like the blazers as well because of their young talent and overall team play that doesnt revolve around one player.

but its people like u that ruin their image and make me think LESS of them.

we arent mad about getting bargnani, ur gm amde a good pick in roy and aldridge congrats, but i believe in bargnani's future and potential.

i agree that portland isnt a bunch of scrubs, they may have gotten lucky tho ;) in that game, but the blazers are not a joke like last year . . . u know, the year where they sucked, and the raptors won a division title? u remember that one right?

Portland fans are talking smack but they are not that great of a road team. 5-10. Oh no! They win one road game for every 2 they lose. Give them the rings already. If they win this game they are 6-10 on the road if the lose 5-11. They need to lose.

I think this is a huge game for us. Portland fans think it's a big game for them to set the tone on their road trip. Plus they would be at 5 straight wins. If it's a big game for them, it's bigger for us. I don't want to see that team dancing around all happy at the acc.

It would be nice if Bargs had a good game. Come on Il Mago, show us some of that Italian passion. He needs a hockey coach to make him mean. ;)

Look for CB to continue his shine. CBC game to boot and I'm pysched. 10 hrs. CBC: chris bosh continues: 2 shine. Big game fellas. big game. Larmarcus who?

Will we be seeing more Roy ownage on our guards? and Which Portland player will get 'hot' on the 3pt line?

As a Blazer fan, I'm concerned about this game. We've been winning games with our zone defense, but we can't leave your shooters open outside. Our starting backcourt is banged up (Roy with a tailbone and a knee, Blake with a calf). Also, Bosh is playing at a different level than he was before. It also seems that Bargs has awaken a bit.

A tough game for us, more than likely.

Well done. I liked the depth of the thought in your post. Seriously ignoring posts like this, it should be a good game tomorrow. I am not sure how the young blazers respond to such an early start time. We will see how it all turns out within the net nine hours. Ciao

The 5-10 road record is a bit deceptive when you factor in that they were 0-9 on the road, as part of their 5-12 start.

Since then, they've won 17 of 18 including 5 of 6 on the road. With road wins at Denver (who was in 1st place in the Division), Utah (where they hadn't won in 5 years), and a gutty double OT victory at Chicago, this team doesn't just roll over on the road.

The concern from the Blazer's point of view is that Blake and Roy are banged up. The last time Roy was banged up and only played 9 minutes (in a blowout victory over the Warriors), Martell Webster went off for 26. PG is probably our deepest position with Jack, Sergio and even Taurean Green able to handle the squad.

6 players can go for 20 on any given night.
