Is it me, or has our progress as our team taken several steps forward (December) and now Jan. is here, and we've taken a huge leap back, the intensity isn't there anymore, the energy, nothing. This looks like the team we saw when we were 2-9 or w/e, it absolutely digusts me because I refuse to watch a full game of such a disgusting display of bball, the most i've watched in this slide (since we beat minny) is 24 minutes, and i'll go do something else.
Thoughts?

one word:schedule. we're facing a lot of teams that we just cant beat because they're talent level is just miles ahead of us. we had newyork, minny twice in dec and the clips. yes we did well to beat the lights of Toronto and Milwaukee. but teams like cleveland and washington have just too much in their tank. injuries to key players doesnt help us either.

I agree with everything in this thread. The Sonics have regressed. January's schedule is killer. We're learning the value of C Wilcox. The offense is not progressing and is too stand around. This evaluation process doesn't promote any ownership as the guys wonder which team they're going to finish the season with.
It's the doldrums of a losing/rebuilding season. We all knew ahead of time this was coming. It'll be a big challenge to PJ's & Presti's leadership to lead the team through it.
