just saw the replay about 5 times on nba tv.... bad call.... and both nba tv announcers agree the basket should have counted. thank you fred carter.

We lost this game because we missed 11 free throws and Detroit missed one. We didn't lose because of that call at the end of OT. Detroit is great because they do the little things well which put them in position to take it to OT. So Sam Vincent needs to STFU and hire a damn free throw shooting coach. Or blame the one we have, not the refs!!

No, the real reason we didn't win is because we didn't shoot 100% from the field, and we allowed Detroit to score a point.

What a stupid line of reasoning. Yes, Bowens, you're right, if we had played better a bad call by the ref that wouldn't have been called against the home team in any other arena wouldn't have cost us the game.

this proves how bad a coach sam is. You can not blame him for the roster or injuries, but when you know you only got 8 guys. Why would you sit JRich and Crash at the same time?

Slam, you need to watch this game cause aside from the VERY disappointing outcome, this was really a great game. The game is in the archives.

I was reading the game thread and thought what Hamilton wrote was spot on. From what I am reading here and the way the call was made, all alley oops should be goal tending.

On that, there was a Nets game last season that we lost on the buzzer because Carter swooped in, jumped up and reverse dunked a shot from the top of the key that was short. It was an amazing play (except for the fact that we lost!!) but based on this game, that should have been called goal tending and we should have had the V?
