Doesn't mean hes not my favorite athlete, i just lost all respect for him as a person. Bringing a child into this world is serious stuff, and bringing them into this world out of wedlock is not the way to do things. Beside that many ppl look up to him only bc he "was" different from other athletes in which he didn't let the secular world around him effect him in his faith and he was proud to tell everyone. Having a bastard child is a huge no matter how much yaw try to sugar coat it with bible verses. Hopefully dwight mans up to his mistake and gives the child the mom and dad he deserves and it don't just mean financially either but actual time and care. he knows he fudged up too bc any proud parent would have told the world about his first born instead he tried to keep it on the DL.
We might take you seriously if your opinion did not sound like that of a kid. I'm personally not "bashing" you, I'm just saying that if you think the majority of childbirths in the world, or even the United States, take place within a marriage, then you are sadly mistaken. As long as the parents love each other, who gives a damn if the state has given them a certificate? Dwight never said he was leaving the girl; apparently they are and have been in a happy relationship. Dwight seems pretty happy about it; the reason he didn't want the press to get to it is because people like you would come out and try to turn it into something it isn't. It's none of the media's business if he had a kid anyway.
