How do you figure? If we're trading Shaq, it's to rebuild. Keeping Cook and Quinn both should be a priority. J.J. Reddick doesn't make up for that loss.

Hardly untouchable, but not for this. If they're so inconsequential, though, why are you being so adamant? What difference do they make to you when you clearly see them as nothing but scrubs?

Edit: Funny thing, the trade works without filler. They don't have to be included at all! What a shock!

Edit 2: You can take out Alexander Johnson and it still works financially. You can remove Reddick and all three of the Miami "filler" players (Cook, Quinn, and Johnson) and it still works.

Maybe you just need to admit that you like the two Miami guards you're attempting to steal, and move on...

Nope. He doesn't have to be though. They just have to have retained his Bird Rights, sign him to a three year deal with a team option after the first season, and deal him (along with some filler) to Miami for Shaq.
