OT: What is your favorite Bulls item or collectible?

Post#1 » by newskoolbulls » Sun Jan 13, 2008 4:34 pm

Hey guys I started a thread on this when Realgm was rather new and just wanted to restart it. I love to collect anything Bulls or michael Jordan and my collection is pretty impressive. I was wondering if you guys had one item that you cherrished? My favorite Bulls item has to be my 86 fleer PSA9 rookie and my autographed Dennis Rodman mini bulls basketball.

I'd like a Ben Wallace pez dispenser. With his actual head nailed on the thing, that way playing time opens up for Noah. Plus, it's a pez dispenser. Which is always nice.

I'd love a video tape of a dominant performance by Ben Wallace. I hear their very rare and collectively worth nearly $15 million.

My Dennis Rodman jersey. I ordered it off ebay and it came from China, so I'm pretty sure its not as-authentic-as-advertised, but I still like it.

That reminds me, I also have those Dennis Rodman color changing cups from McDonalds. When you put liquid in it, Rodman's hair changes color.

In 6th grade I worked at a farm, corn detasseling for an entire summer. I earned 310$. I used it to buy a mint 86 fleer jordan. My folks thought that I was nuts. I have never had it graded.

I went to the auction when they closed MJ's resturant. I bought a signed basketball by Ryne Sandberg that says "To Michael, Ryne Sandberg"

I have a Jordan 45 Jersey signed, but it is a replica jersey, but a real auto my buddy got signed for me when he won a trip to MJ's camp.

I have several MJ and Pippen autographs and hope to one day add authentic signed Jerseys.

I am a nut for collecting Memoriblia. I put myself through college in the 90's buying and selling autographs at shows.

I am lucky to have a wife that understands my obession!

Signed Van Lier jersey! I'm pretty sure it's a one-of-one ... who has a Van Lier jersey? Thought so.

When I was younger I had a lot of time to kill so after MJ's second retirement one of the papers ran a front page where a bunch of MJ headlines were colored to look like his head.

I cut it out and framed it. Awesome to this day.

I've had both of these at one point, not sure where they are now could be in the attic somewhere.

I loved that rodman cup, it was so awesome i think i overused it because it stopped changing colors and it was just really worn.

Still my most favorite cup ever.

I have a Jordan Measure Up poster, which is a full size poster or him standing with a ruler so you can see how you "measure up" to MJ.

I also have a factory-sealed Wheaties box commemorating the first championship.

i have the Pippen, Armstrong and Horace Grant ones too!

i'd say my ticket stubs.

the ones from the pre-jordan era, always love to show people the cheap prices and great locations.

stubs from the 88 and 89 playoffs - those epic Pistons pre-championship era battles. i have a cursed 'Bad Boys' t shirt that i still break out every so often.

my '91 NBA finals Game 2 stub and '91 NBA Champions T-Shirt!

and of couse some of the gear i saved from the '88 All-Star game! hat, flyers, slam dunk '10' placard.

and on my keychain is one of those metal seat numbers from the old Chicago Stadium.

but i still want a real derigaBULL!
