Blockbuster Suns/Grizzlies/Bobcats

Post#1 » by Togo » Mon Jan 14, 2008 12:25 am

Bobcats trade:

Okafor, Morrison, and Harrington.

Receive:

Gasol, and Navarro.

Why? Okafor probably won't stay, and doesn't seem to be playing well in Vincents system. Gasol gives them post scoring that should open up the 3. Morrison IMO isn't going to get a lot of pt when he comes back, so I say they should get some value for him.

New Lineup:

Felton
Richardson
Wallace
Gasol
Nazr

Grizzlies trade:

Gasol, MMiller, and Warrick

Receive:

Marion, Diaw, Morrison, and ATL 1st.

Why? The Grizzlies are not playing particularly well right now. They get Marion, a 4 time all star. Diaw, who Iavaroni knows how to use correctly. Morrison, who could eventually come off the bench and be a pretty good scorer. And ATL's pick. Gasol doesn't want to be there, so I say trade him.

Suns trade:

Marion, Diaw, and ATL 1st.

Receive:

Okafor, MMiller, Warrick, and Harrington.

Why? This is a tough a trade for PHX. It means they are going in a different direction. Okafor is the post defender that they need, which will let Amare roam and block shots on D, and not get as many fouls. MMiller gives them a 3 pt shooter, that fits D'Antoni's system to a T. Warrick would fit in well as well. The suns can still run and gun with Okafor on the bench. Overall I think it makes them a better playoff team.

New lineup:

Nash
Bell
Hill
Amare
Okafor

You do realize Morrison is out for the season right.

looks good for phoenix from a TOR fan's pov, a bench consistening of Banks/Barbosa/Miller/Warrick/Skinner seems a lot more improved than the current one

The Suns can take Morrison instead. Warrick can stay with the Grizz.

IF we decided to move Mek this is a pretty good trade for us IMO.

Well done.

Not bad, I think the Suns would have to include atleast one pick in the this.
