He's good....real good.

Nobody talks about him because he plays under the shadow of Chris Paul and he is on the Hornets.

If he were on the Knicks he'd be hyped like Channing Frye.

West has a very smooth shooting stroke and can hit the 3 even....very underrated player.

He and Aldridge shoot extremely well for big men in that 15-18 foot range.

West is undoubtedly the best big man that you don't hear about, perhaps the best player. Hard working, dedicated, gets the job done.

The Hornets have a long term core around Chandler, West, and Paul.

David West is a great player but the best least talked about player has to be Kevin Martin IMO....He is truly underrated like West...

This guy has got to be the best player NOBODY is talking about.

Pretty much a 20/10 guy. I don't even think Hornets fans know this guy plays for them. This guy is so low-key. In fact, I just found about about him 2 days ago.

No, we just don't feel the need to make a thread about every good player we have.

he is one of the most clutch shooters in the NBA, along with CP3

ironically the clutchest shot we've made was peja when we beat dallas for the first time in 8 years back on 12/1

David West is a good player. His problem is that he is playing in todays game. Where stat's and game mean nothing to sports center highlights. The guy is good at what he does and people will still critique him for that but most likely wont do the same for someone lesser on their favorite team.

David West is very underrated. He's one of the better PFs in the game today IMO.

I don't know if it's just the Hawks but he plays with a lot of intensity on both ends and Steve Smith spends most of the broadcast talking about him. Definitely hasn't been "boring" when I have seen him. New Orleans is like Golden State, Sacramento and Los Angeles (Clippers). Only the hardcore fans know what's going on there.

That's because he's definitely a top 15 power forward/barely top 10 power forward. He's a nice player, but power forward is the deepest position in the NBA.

West reminds me of Tim Duncan. Quiet yet effective. This is meant as a compliment, BTW.
