0.1% chance he does, IMO

Bruised knee..2 week injury, my guess.

That depends.

Varejao also bruised his knee bad on wednesday, and friday he played almost 40 minutes against the cats, and played well too,16 and 18.

It really depends on how serious it is,but assuming he is walking, stretching and stuff,i doubt is anything serious.

As a Blazer fan, I know how much it sucks to see your C go down with a knee injury. Also, for as harsh as I've been on Bynum homers lately, I really don't want to see anyone get hurt.

If you're going to beat a team legitimately, you want to beat them at full strength...otherwise, their fans will always have excuses.
Thank you for all the memories BRoy. You were a class act and brought hope to an entire region for 5 years. You will be missed.

During the Bynum post game interview he talked like he was expecting to play today (or against PHX). He didn't outright say it, but it seemed like he didn't expect to just roll over.

I hope he gets back soon enough, because the Lakers = must see TV.

it was probably a minor injury, but Kobe pulled a Tonya Harding after the game, since Bynum has been taking some of his spotlight..

all jokes aside, hope he's OK..he's probably the MIP, so it would be a shame for him to lose out on the rest of the season, or a big part of it..

This isn't the interview I was talking about. But this is the official one.

Nah, that's got to be Chris Kaman at this point but Bynum should certainly get mention for the award.

Kaman was my other option, but I'm assuming Bynum's minutes will rise, and his numbers will too as the season goes along..Brand might also come back, which will diminish Kaman's numbers a little..

It hasn't hit the radio or websites left, but...

He will be out 4-8 week and NO LIGAMENT damage or surgery needed.

We'll see; he's definitely someone who (if healthy, and I hope he will be) should be in contention.

I am enthused by Bynum's progress this year and would hate to see him derailed now.

ya i hope he recovers fully (soon) and continue to play at a high level

Laker fans rejoice! Not season ending or anything serious.

We can take the 4-8 weeks.

Agent: Bynum to miss 8 weeks with knee injury

Andrew Bynum, a key factor in the Los Angeles Lakers' 25-11 start to the season, will miss eight weeks with what his agent says is a subluxation of his left kneecap.

Bynum

David Lee told ESPN The Magazine's Sam Alipour that Bynum will not need surgery. Bynum, who had an MRI on Monday, will begin rehabiliation immediately, Lee said.

"He's already focusing on his rehab," Lee said Monday.

Bynum injured his knee early in the third quarter of Sunday night's 100-99 victory over the Memphis Grizzlies. A subluxation occurs when the kneecap is pulled toward the outside of the knee.

"It was pretty scary because it felt like my knee twisted all around. Luckily I'm all right," Bynum, who was wearing a heavy brace after the game, said.

"I didn't hear any pops. I'm able to put weight on it and it doesn't really hurt. Just when I bend it, it hurts."
Cheers. — Mags

With Bynum out for an extended time, Odom's going to have to step up his game even more so now....

Whether he can consistently do it is another question......
