Yeah, Oden is really tearing it up this year.

To be fair his +/- is better then Bargnani's

In your last paragraph, you mentioned that they should put Bargs in when Bosh comes out.. isn't this kind of like saying the Bosh/Bargs combo doesn't work together?

I'm willing to be patient to allow him develop, as I do think he can be an effective player in the NBA..

But I guess all these "Bargs sucks" threads are beginning to get to me.. I'm starting to believe that he isn't really a good fit for this team. The Raps have pretty much already shown they can win without his help.. When they are running on all cylinders, I believe the team can compete with anyone in the NBA, the problem is consistency - which I think comes with confidence and poise, as Hank Scorpio mentions with his "pyramid of success".

Consistency is the one element missing from the team. Who cares about the draft, it's history.. the question is, does BC wait for Bargs to develop consistency, or move him for someone who is more consistent. In either case, I believe BC is a competent enough man to make the right decision.

Just the expression on his face alone during games suggests he is always pondering.

I'm not saying that at all. Bargnani needs to develop an identity on offense other than just shooting three's. Right now, with Bosh on the floor he just won't develop in the frontcourt. I'd say the same issue would be there had we taken LA instead. The touches and spots he'll get the ball just won't be the same with them both on the floor at this time.

If Bargs knows he's going to be getting those touches in certain spots while Bosh is getting a break, he knows what to focus on and where he needs to develop. Not that he shouldn't know now, but this allows him to be the frontcourt focal point.

Once he develops a consistent game, then it becomes a pick your poison with either on the floor together. But at this time, Bargs needs some plays run for him in the frontcourt where he knows it's about him scoring or creating for a teammate.
