I think Vasquez is an athletic type of player, and in Europe everything is so "shooter" based. How else can we explain Dirk Nowitzki. His athleticism has intriqued be since we drafted him, but unless he gets here next season he isn't going to. He could help up front possibly. Foyle and Battie are gonna be even older next season.
You look confused...let me fill you in.

All of us will regret if that STIFF, ever wear a Magic uniform, I'd seen film of this guy, and he sucks, that is the final contribution of Brian Hill to the organization, with Twardzick's endorsement, GOD HELP US!!!!!

Because Smith and Twardzik do not know how to draft players.

Actually at the time they said that several teams in the lottery were interested in him. So its not like we made a NYK pick there. If he can play in the NBA yet it still a toss up but Ill give him the benefit of the doubt. I know we havent been good with drafting, but it is important to know we werent the only team that liked him that high.

The draft is such a crapshoot anyway. I didn't mind the pick because he does look like a tremendous player, but I did have a problem with Otis and Tward not knowing all the variables involved. Of course he showed intent by being at the draft and visiting the city, but his family and girlfriend had the final say apparently. A couple of trips to Spain could have brought that to light a little better. Even if they knew for sure, why not take a free trip to Europe on the company dime? I know I would have. Hopefully he comes over next year, and his buyout will be more reasonable going into the final year of contract.

My guess is Fran and Battie are the reasons that Otis isnt making moves for any bigs. I think Fran will come over and that time heals all wounds. Fans wont forget, but once he dawns a Magic uniform they will forgive. At least thats my opinion on the matter.

I watched a game of his less than a month ago while I was in spain visiting my grandparents. He started and picked up two quick fouls and never really got back into the game. But atleast he did start. One thing I noticed from watching a lot of spanish games is that the coaches use a much larger rotation of players and the game is a lot shorter. So that might help explain Fran's unimpressive minutes per game and stats.

We really need some kind of PF prospect. I think we all should suck it up and hope he comes over.
11/18/2017 - I have officially disowned Nikola Vucevic and branded him a loser.

- Skal Labissiere was my guy in 2016 pre-trade. Whoops, but I still believe.
- Malik Monk was my guy in 2017. Whoops(?)
- Mo Bamba was my guy in 2018. TBD.

I doubt he'll amount to much of anything anywhere.

He has physical talent, but as a basketball player is just plain insignificant. The Magic already have 6 of those on the roster right now.

Still, a stupid draft pick.
Basketball is driven by three principles:

1) Movement 2) Application of fundamentals 3) Predictability

Well he would fit right in. He wouldnt play much, we would complain because he doesnt get any pt so he cant develop. Sound familiar?

I'm almost beggining to think we should trade for a PG and SG now. And wait for Fran and Battie to come over. Not to mention Gortat, Auggie and Cook are still developing. And we're not going to win a championship this year. So let's roll with the cards we have dealt right now to the end of the season.

I think there are three teams that have the best shot bring him over, Toronto, Memphis and San Antonio. we might as well try to some how package him in a trade with one of these teams.

I like it a lot. Bargs has tons of potential and would spread the court for Dwight. He obviously doesn't fit playing next to another PF like Bosh. I wonder if they Toronto is committed to developing him since he was their number one pick, even though he should have been a 5th to 8th pick.
