Fair enough trade for both to agree on. Carney finally gets a legit chance to sink or swim as a 3, CV pushes Evans to the bench, the '09 Utah 1st won't be great, but it'll help the Bucks w/ their rebuild, and CV in Philly means he gets the shot to shine that he didn't get in Toronto(Bosh already entrenched at the 4) and Milwaukee(Yi being forced into the line-up by management).

Good trade Iggy. That's about what I'd put CV's value at.

LOL Iggy

You should know number of posts don't equal well thought out ones.

You could have 20,000 posts and still not get it or 1 post and know exactly what is up. Shades of gray my friend.

Anyway this does look like a fair trade from you which is a nice change of pace. You do have a few here and there hiding among the mountain of so-sos to down right awfuls.

Keep it up.

I'm not the biggest of CV fans... but I would do this. The emergence of Thad Young has only further limited the chances for Carney to succeed in Philly and CV gets a chance to get a lot of run on the Sixers since we need all of the offensive help that we can get.

Sixers accept.

Haha.

Knew I would receive some feedback from that post, but it was only a joke

Of coarse There are many knoweledgable ballboys and in the same respect there are many ignorant post padders.

However, many ballboys come in here and see people bash me for some of my crazy proposals and they jump right on the banwaggon without actually thinking about each trade.

All i was doing was giving him respect for having a mind of his own, and from what it sounds like, a good one at that.

Thanks r0cdogg. I try. I know some of my fanatasy pipe dreams can be distracting but thats why I intend to "mark" the good ones like I did here; So people know when Im actually serious and not just trying to rock the boat.

If I was going to offer up ony 1 suggestion for you it would be this.

Explain your trades. It is not too much to ask. Most everyone does so when posting one because it gives a clearer idea as to the thought process involved.

I usually type mine up in Notepad until I feel it is good for posting then copy and paste, simple. Granted you do make a lot more trades than me but so what, it isn't that time consuming or difficult to add reasoning.

Anyway keep having fun, it's all goodz!

Not a bad trade; the only problem with the Utah pick is that it is so heavily protected that it might be years before Milwaukee receives it. Still, the Bucks could do much worse.

It would have to depend on th eportection of the Utah pick.....do you know what it is? Because its a real possibility that it could end up being a lotto pick.

I know Carney doesnt have much value, but is Villanueva really worth a possible lottery pick?

Well, Korver certainly isn't...that's why we didn't give one to the Sixers ;)

It's protected into the 20s, but the Jazz hope/intend to be there again very soon, so whoever gets it probably won't have to wait long.

No. Of course villa isnt worht a lottery pick. This pick is protected by Utah. Nobobdy knows the exact protection but the pick will likely be after the middle of the draft(16-18).

GM's are generally pretty wary of trading picks belonging to other teams, because you never really know what direction the other team intends on going in. Especially a team like Utah that has players with injury history in a conference as strong as the West. That protection falls every year, and could end up being a very high pick with Villanueva long gone from Philly.

Based on what I know of the pick, it can never be higher than 15th (starts at top-22 protected, with protection declining one spot until 2013, then four spots the next year)...and that would be in 2014. If it's not surrendered by that point, I believe that it converts to a 2nd rounder and cash. Very low risk trade for Philly, in that regard.

Very solid trade. Only downside is that poor Dalembert will pick up a ton of fouls trying to clean up the defensive messes that Charlie leaves behind.
