Bibby's one of my favourite players in the league but, No ... two reasons: contract and decline in production.

no.

1. when TJ comes back I'm pretty sure Bibby wants to play 3rd string point guard.
2. we'll have to give up too much for him. you're looking at like giving away Calderon for him. It's just silly.

If they get Bibby this year, I will do anything you tell me to do.

I guess in this scenerio we could be paying 3 starting caliber PG's almost 30 million combined next season and none of them would be able to effectively slide over to SG.

I'm just not sure if that's the best way to allocate our cap space...

That would be great! He was a great player for the {Vancouver} Grizzlies. I would love to see a combination of Mike Bibby & Shareef Abdur-Rahim for Jose Calderon & Garbo. Lets unite these two players back to the country of Canada.

And what do you do when TJ comes back?

This is a bad move all around, financially and on the court.

No. I wouldn't want an enlarged version of Mini-Me on our team. Contract too big.

This guy's got a big contract and would play behind TJ and Jose. We need a middling point guard with a low salary that can come in and hold fort until TJ comes back. When he does...he'll have to be prepared to face a role as a 3rd point guard.

Every single post of yours is about the grizzlies. That franchise had nothing going for them, and SAR is crap now. Please let go of your love for SAR...

You do realize that being a great player for the Grizzlies isn't saying much considering their short history of on the court performance. Not to mention that they haven't been around for a good 5+ year's or so now. How long ago was this supposed greatness of Mike Bibby's? And then you want to add SAR to this team, where exactly do those two play with Bosh and Ford (although currently out) on the team. And we haven't even gotten to SAR's diminished game in the last few year's, his injury problems and his lack of ability to be a good player in key moments.

This has to be one of the dumbest suggestions ever. We get it, you don't like the Euro's even though Jose is playing like an all-star right now and Garbo brought exactly the type of toughness you clamour for. Other than his nationality, he's exactly the type of guy you've been describing as a need for this team.
